What a delight! We enjoyed their wonderful brunch menu and when we found that they reinvented themselves as a tapas restaurant we had to try. What a great menu, great service and delicious food. This is a terrific addition to Tempe's dining scene. Tasty options for vegetarians as well. Highly recommended.
On our Sunday morning walk we decided to try Sweetest Season Artisan Eatery. I ordered The Rut, which is eggs, bacon, Parmesan potatoes & 2 thick pieces of toast with raspberry jam. The eggs were perfectly cooked, bacon was the exact right amount of crispy without being crumbly. The potatoes where small & neatly cut into thin slices, but still ball like. The raspberry jam was amazing. The husband had the Classic, which was a Belgian waffle with egg, cheddar & candied bacon. He enjoyed it as well. They have an amazing looking sweets display up front. We will definitely be back.
What a cute little coffee shop! There's art on the wall, fairly certain it's art for sale. We were warmly greeted and seated right away.
I came here knowing I wanted the waffles after a Yelp search. I got a cappuccino with spicy cinnamon syrup, it was so good!! It was just a hint of cinnamon, nothing overpowering. I just love the taste of the two together!
The waffles with berries were delicious! The berries tasted fresh, the waffles were perfectly crispy on the outside but soft inside with a delicious hint of vanilla and cinnamon and it was topped with vanilla bean whipped cream that really brought it all together nicely!
My honey tried the brioche with gravy and sausage. The gravy is very flavorful but light. Almost as if it's made from a broth, the brioche was delicious, it was crunchy outside, soft inside and the sausage was delicious. The gravy and sausage are on the bottom and the brioche is placed on top, which we weren't expecting. It was tasty, nonetheless, just thought it was going to be like biscuits and gravy but it was even better! He got a mocha latter with a few extra shots. Big fan. He also ordered a side of the candied bacon, he was a fan, I was not. To be fair, I’m just learning to eat pork and I don’t think I’m gonna be a fan of bacon, I like my turkey bacon and only when I make it.
We wanted to try a pastry but were full after our breakfast so we'll just have to come back to try those!! The staff was amazing, very chatty and attentive, it's always nice when we get to talk to the staff a bit, makes it more enjoyable. Prices were fair, they have a nice selection of cocktails, some beer, wine. It's right next a Fry's, looked closed when we showed up so don't drive away without walking up, it's so worth a try!!
Be prepared for this place to change your life.... I'm not able to explain how amazing the attention to quality, fine ingredients and expert craftsmanship this establishment puts into every item on this menu. Please experience our breakfast through our mouthwatering pictures...Cubano with whipped cream, Bloody Mary, Eggs Benedict and my personal favorite Brioche Biscuit and Gravy with a side of eggs. As my wife says, "every time I come here I feel pampered."
Sweetest Season Artisan Eatery was the sweetest brunch experience! I’m sure you saw what I did there.
Located conveniently on the Southeast corner of McClintock and Guadalupe, Sweetest Season Artisan Eatery (SSAE) was on all accounts amazing. Shame on me for not giving the title its proper significance. SSAE really lives up to its Artisan name. Each dish was elegantly crafted and plated. It really added to my foodie’s delight.
I had the steak and eggs dish along with a “loaded” Belgian waffle with notes of vanilla and cinnamon. So delicious! My Queen greatly enjoyed the “loaded” waffle as well. I can proudly say that I ate all of my dishes and half of hers. I was being a fatty for this brunch experience. 🙂🙃
We will certainly be back soon; they have very loyal brunch guest in us!
ProTip: they have a small bar (only 4 seats available) with no TV. However, my queen and I got the amazing opportunity to be served and entertained by the owners (husband and wife combo). They really showed their love and passion for great food and extraordinary service.
This new lil breakfast spot is a stealth banger. The food is absolutely satisfying, the staff outstanding, service on point. I swear the music played is straight from my personal playlists. I make a weekly pilgrimage to this amazing brunch hideout. I recommend the hangry and a carafe of mimosa.
Your welcome.
I set up an late breakfast meeting here on a Friday. At the last minute I had to take my son with me. The place looks very modern At first glance when walking in. The kitchen is exposed so you can see people cooking and the smell of waffles fills the air. This is a great think because my son loves waffles and pancakes.
I ordered the waffles with whipped cream and fruit to share with the boy and James, my friend ordered the same. We were one of a few folks that were at the restaurant so our food came pretty quickly. It was delicious, the amount was enough to share the plate, my son and I each had a waffle. He took majority of the whipped cream.
This place does a great job with service. I don’t think it’s set up that well for kids though. My son took the pen that was meant for the little maze and games they gave him and wrote all over the new tables. Then he was pulling apart the table decor and using it to hit things. While I was stopping him, he’s 3, and I felt bad that he was going crazy on nice things. The staff too the decor at one point lol.
This place was a great experience and the food was good. Sorry about your table! :)
Owners and staff very pleasant, quick and accommodating. Outside patio area nice to sit and dine. Food just as appealing to look at as was delicious to eat. The French Connection is a Chef specialty and scrumptious. Very savory. Very balanced with the smoked salmon, capers, argula and a perfectly cooked soft quail egg. Diners next to our table had eye popping breakfast French toast I salivated over too.
Not a gourmet place for foodie snobs, more a Hippie French vibe with more innovation and skill than typical (Merci, Snooze, etc). Don't expect Cordon Bleu chef perfection, but good enough to be my favorite breakfast place. I'll be trying their catering for my next event soon.
Really cute breakfast place with yummy gluten free bread. The customer service is always excellent and the couple of items I've had here have always been great. Wish they had even more gluten free options, because I'd eat here more often if that was the case!
