Great food, great service. Sashimi was nice and fresh, practically melted in my mouth. Tempe rolls were real good too. I will definitely be coming back soon.
Been going there since day one when they opened. The sushi and food are delicious and I like that the staff doesn't try to run you the hell out like (sadly to say Thai restaurant on Rural and Apache) here's your food hurry up and eat and give the money now.Both cuisines Japanese and Korean shine here. Can well get some marinated pork belly on the menu please?????

Nice little cafe in a plaza. Great happy hour offerings from 4:30pm until 7pm. It’s more of “small plates” deal, I ordered three happy hour items with rice and it was enough. Nice service.
Everything was absolutely delicious 🤤 genuine taste and many options too! We had a teriyaki combo that came with sushi ; and we also had a spicy beef stew, it was really good!
Quaint Japanese/Korean place perfectly fitting our needs! We love Asian cuisine and it was not too busy when we were expecting everywhere to be packed! Bradley was an awesome server!
We had pork gyoza, spring rolls, and Jalapeño bombs for appetizers and the Japanese currency for an entree! Excellent food and an amazing atmosphere!
This has been one of my favorite go to restaurants since I came to ASU. The staff are always nice and cordial and willing to engage in nice conversations. The food is amazing, I’ve visited a lot of local Asian restaurant and the quality and portions or the dishes never seizes to amaze me and leave me in awe. The environment is nice and it’s always a positive place to walk into. The staff re always attentive and focused on the customer. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is by far one of the most underrated in Tempe.
This was our first visit to Gangnam, it was really good. Being so close to Gammage this could make the rotation we have for show nights. We split a crunchy Philly roll and Vegas roll. We also split a teriyaki chicken bento box which came with a California roll. It was all very good.
Went for a date night with hubby, our lady server was super nice and courteous! It was crowded Ofcourse because of college kids, but service was going on smoothly.

Our party had several different dishes. One of us had the seafood stew - aka Korean hot pot (with what look like udon noodles). Another one of us had several sushi rolls, another bee bim bop, and I myself had the spicy chicken. Their sushi was good. I had a sample of the Vegas roll and was not disappointed. All of it was made fresh. The spicy chicken was absolutely delicious, it's one of my favorite dishes. Nobody complained about any of their food, and all of us had good things to say about the taste and flavor overall. This place has got a hole in the wall feel, and it's in a dingier strip mall. However, the prices are reasonable, the service was excellent, and it's what you would expect from a hole in the wall sushi place.

Awesome little place with a great atmosphere, decent prices, and a fantastic happy hour. Definitely recommend for a date night or just a chill hang out spot for awesome sushi.
I have been to this restaurants a couple times during happy hour. They have a pretty good selection of sushi and Korean dishes with decent prices. The staff was friendly and the food was tasty.
They have a good selection of vegan options. The crunchy asparagus roll is so delicious!!!!!! Happy hour also has a few vegan options as well, and for a good price. Will definitely be returning 🥰
Great food! Tried the Super Spider-Man and I was not disappointed! So delicious, as well as the Chicken Yakisoba! The location is a little sketch, but the atmosphere in Gangnam makes up for it. Nice/Attentive staff also!
I love Gangnam. The bibimbop is fantastic. The spicy edamame is super good. The dumplings (guyzo?) are very tasty. And we really like the Tiger Roll.

Food was very good, probably the best sushi I've had in Arizona in terms of variety. Music was a little loud, and it was darker towards the back, but the service was nice. It was a little packed so I'd recommend coming a little earlier than you usually eat.
