Good food. I was taken to this place by a friend for chineese new year. I have retuned several times to the same experiences. Ask to order from the chineese menu. It is in English but you have a few more choices that are reallymgood. The Monk platter is a great collection of all sorts of mushrooms. Their whole steamed talapia is great although we hadnto convince the server that we really did want a whole streamed fish. Ifmyou know to ask, they give you free soup. The type of soup changes daily. The soups are medicinal chineese soups. Some are bettternthan others. The food here feels very authentic. Their Singapore noodles were very good.

Great Chinese food in Chandler. It is valuable to have such a good Chandler restaurant located in the city. They do take-out and serves family style. Open late for the area 10-10 pm.

Soups were great, portions large. Entrees were good but not what I expected.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. I usually order to-go, but will occasionally come in for a sit down meal. Usually pretty busy, but service is quick. Food portions are large. Love the Singapore rice noodles & beef chow fun, but honestly, I've tried everything & really enjoyed it. Don't be put off by the main waitress; she comes across as being pretty gruff, but she's really very nice. Give this restaurant a try; I don't think you'll regret it!

This place is the real deal. We are SO glad that a friend suggested we try Hong Kong Asian Diner. My wife loves the shrimp with lobster sauce. I'm a pretty big fan, too. We have only been here a few times but have always enjoyed the food. Good food, reasonably priced and close to home. That's a great combination. Go ahead, give them a try!

They have easy, fast pick up and friendly staff! Everything we've ordered over the years has been great, including the orange chicken, beef and broccoli, house lo mein, and moo shu vegetable. I'm so glad they are still open during Pandemic for carry out!

Very good food, although the Pepsi tasted a little watered down. My husband ordered the Beef Chowfun and he loved it. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and the sauce was just right, and the chicken was tender. The crab puffs were awesome! Made fresh and light. There is a fish tank in the restaurant that gives off a fishy smell that takes getting used to but the food is awesome! Service was great. Our waitress was a touch brusque (possibly a cultural demeanor) but very attentive. We are definitely coming back.

The food here is delicious! They have two menus, one is typical Americanized Chinese and the other is authentic Chinese. Everything we've tried is great- off both menus. There seem to be a lot of Asian families enjoying dinner whenever we go. I take that as a good sign. Some reviews said that the waitress sounded angry- maybe her accent makes her english seem a little clipped? I've always received pleasant, efficient service (BTW- we're not Asian).

Best Chinese food in Chandler. My mom and I have been coming here for years for authentic Chinese food just like home. We’ve gotten to know the owner and her family. Wonderful people and amazing food. We like to order take out or come for lunch buffet!

This place is a real gem. They have authentic Cantonese food. All for the Cantonese menu or you will get the Americanized menu. Peking duck here rivals that of the dishes I've had in SF, NY, and Australia. Delicious! Service is excellent, also. Don't be afraid to ask for recommendations and to try something new.

Went on weekend, so haven't tried the buffet, but the two dishes I ordered were good. I like food a little spicy, so had to ask for chili sauce, which added to the otherwise bland (to me) taste. I will try the weekday lunch buffet!

As the name suggests, HKAD serves typical southern or Cantonese style Chinese Cuisine. While they have a buffet and regular menu, I've never had food from it. If you want a treat, check out the 'other menu' which serves excellent authentic Chinese food such as Beef Chow Fun (beef stir fried with wide rice noodles), Chinese fried chicken, and stir fried crab with ginger and onions. Went recently for Chinese New Year's and had an outstanding dinner that also included West Lake Sourp, Taro Duck and Walnut Shrimp. You may have to wait, but the food is worth it.

Love the food, been going there for years. Wide selection of wonderful Asian cuisine. Service is speedy, except when they are packed. Obviously family run. I agree with other reviews that service could do better with a smile, but you can strike up a conversation with them and it can break the tension.
