I took the 12 minute drive here from my house in Scottsdale to check out this new spot during their soft opening. What a cool location! Completely re-vamped, it is located at the old "minder binders" on McClintock, behind the circle K. The first thought i had was "whoa, this place is huge". You enter through an outdoor patio area which houses 3 or 4 pool tables, into the front doors where you immediately see the bar area. The bar and restaurant area has a ton of seating, friendly staff, great music playing- the vibe was just right... I thought "i could bring a date here, or I could just as easily come here with the boys". On the opposite side of the wall from the bar there were Mario Kart arcades connected to each other, that were free to play and a foosball table. I also noticed that coming from upstairs it looked like they were installing a projection screen. Outside there was a large Spanish style patio area, open, with lit trees and music playing, a stage/DJ area, and it felt like a great place to bring a large group.
The food was excellent! The food was all super inexpensive for the quality and the portions. My uncle even commented that his $22 Cuban ribeye with the fixings was probably some kind of promotional deal, however he was quickly corrected by one of the employees. They had some great beers on tap, awesome liquor selection, and I sampled a few from the cocktail menu.
Not sure what else you can ask for- great space for a large or small group, free games, great food, great drinks. This is the kind of place I wish there were more of.
This place has it all! Lunch, dinner, music, games, pool, shuffleboard, skee ball, the list goes on. For a restaurant, it has so many cool different atmospheres within the venue. A stage for live music out on the patio, a full bar with lots of tequila and whiskey selections, an awesome happy hour with a good variety of small and medium bites, and even vegetarian options!
They do a lot of private events and parties, so I would check in and see which areas are rented out if you are coming with a large group. The upstairs bar is currently being remodeled, but they are opening it n April.
All in all, great vibes and super cool bar and restaurant. If you’re looking for good food and lots of fun, check out Social Hall!
All the way from Tucson to visit the big city but we were looking for a neighborhood sports bar to watch the U of A game... then we found a hidden gem!!! Social Hall is A+mazing!! It has everything! Great food, great service, amazing company and top notch owners!! Loved networking, eating, watching the game and shooting the breeze!! It's a grown up establishment with a fun and chill feel!! If your in the area or even if your not come check it out!! Deff worth it!!
This place is great. Fantastic menu, lots of beer choices and great selection of whiskey and tequila. Friendly staff great service. A must try if you're in the area
Went in to try some of the stuff on their new menu... Ended up trying almost all the the small plates on their menu. � Everything was so amazing. I highly recommend this place.
Wow! This isn't just another restaurant, it's an experience! Thanks Brittany for helping provide such a great dining "adventure" when most places are just a place to go and eat. To top it off, while somewhat limited in number of items, your menu has something for everyone. And not just the same ole stuff!! Tasty and Fun!!
So happy this place just opened up. It's a 3-minute walk from my place and it's easily going to be my new favorite hangout next to Sleepy Dog Brewery. Suggestion...definitely have Live Music on the weekends.
The Social Hall is within walking distance from our home, so we decided to check it out last night and it did not disappoint. The food was great and for the price had good portion sizes. The drinks are awesome, they have $5 adult Capri suns! The free games are a blast. And we ended our night sitting by the fire and swinging on the outdoor hammocks. The atmosphere was awesome and we will definitely be going back.

Drinks were great, service was on point.. Having a hostess is an excellent idea. Can't wait till the upstairs opens though.
Also, really love the live music.

The menu is original. Food is made fresh, great flavor! The coke is sugar based no high fructose corn syrup(!!) The staff is friendly. And the games are free... GREAT PLACE!!

I hosted a birthday party for my husband & 50 guests in the Rafter Room. From the moment I toured the venue, to the planning, to the cleanup at the end of my event, Ashley (Director of Operations & Private Events) & the rest of the staff took amazing care of us. My party was incredible, and all of our guests were very impressed.
The food (I booked the “University” meal package) was above and beyond what I expected for buffet food. The carved prime rib was delicious!!!! The bar manager also worked with me to create a Featured Drink, in honor of the birthday boy, and I had numerous people comment on how good it was.
The venue is unique & has a very trendy vibe. We had the best experience! I would absolutely recommend the Social Hall for anyone looking for an energetic & fun event space that will have you and your guests smiling the entire time.
(I gave 4/5 stars for “atmosphere” because of the noise, as the Rafter Room is partially opened to the bar/restaurant downstairs.)
A super good menu! Everything was just so delicious and prepared perfectly. Taste combos and textures etc.!! Cool looking place, they are re-doing their outside seating area. Decent pricing for what you get and will want to come back to try some more tasty dishes!
I absolutely love this place! The vibes are great and the staff is super nice. I went for my birthday brunch and they were very accommodating. They asked where we would like to sit and they even gave us time to take our pictures. The food and drinks were so amazing, and the prices were great for the portions. They have something for everyone on the menu, and while still being small enough that everything was consent and delicious. I am definitely coming back and definitely recommend!
During Sat brunch. Staff was friendly, food was good. Had the biscuits and gravy which overall it was good but some of the biscuits were like rocks to eat. Price seems good overall, many things to do for fun and games inside and out. Photo booth worked yet you could t send the pictures or save them so we had to use our phone to take a picture of the picture from the photobooth, which defeats the purpose.
Definitely will go again for food and bringing friends.
Fun place with large indoor and outdoor. Plenty of seating and games to play all free.
Very big portion, good food, good service . Easy goping place.
First timer here and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service, excellent price on wine. Dinner was superb, tasty, and good quality.

My husband and I decided to skip the traditional wedding and have an intimate family wedding in the Rafter Room of Social Hall. It was the PERFECT place for us and we are (still!) so thrilled with our decision.
I'm not sure how to describe the feeling of walking into Rafter Room. It's moody, intimate, rustic, and it just feels so nice. All of our family and closest friends said the place fit us so well as a couple.
We were a bit nervous because we weren't sure how the food was going to be, but WOW. It was incredible! Everyone LOVED the food. After the event, the staff boxed up the food for us. I ate leftovers every day for a week and did not get sick of it. We did the Social Grill package and that smoked brisket with barbecue was heavenly. (Now that I'm writing this, I want to eat it again haha!)
The staff was also amazing. Ashley and Madeline were extremely communicative throughout the whole process and were so easy to work with. The staff that helped us the day of were also so nice and helpful.
I've been telling everybody about Social Hall as an event space since our wedding. (Also, if you're in need of audio or media for an event, we surprised everyone with a vow video we had filmed a month prior and luckily for us, the Rafter Room has a built-in projector screen and audio setup. It was perfect!)
I can't say enough great things about our experience. Thank you to everyone at Social Hall for making our wedding day so special!
Food was good, vibe was comfortable and service was excellent. The only thing that could have been better was the pumpkin sangria as it lacked much flavor.
Loved the ambiance. I had family with kids from out of state visiting and wanted to find a fun place for them to have dinner. The kids are 8 and 10. There was an outdoor game as well as the inside gameroom. It was just opening, when we came for dinner hence the empty game room. Within an hour all of the seats were filled. There was the big rivals ASU vs. UofA just down the street. I chose to come here it was much more comfortable ❤️ The food is definitely better than the stadium. 😁
We hosted a work event with 20 people and our group was really pleased. The ambience on the courtyard patio was nice and this was October. We had access to games and there was a great selection of drinks to choose from. Service was exceptionally good. We ordered a variety of appetizers for happy hour and some dessert items. Everyone had a great time and we would come again!
