Wow! I am in AZ on business and decided to try this cafe via grubhub. I ordered the Avocado, Egg, and Parmesan croissant with a Chocolate Chip jumbo cookie and the Caramel Latte Breve. Y'all! That latte was heavenly!! It was smooth and light. (I need that in my life daily!) The croissant was fresh and buttery. The cookie was LARGE but still moist and soft. Usually cookies this large are not baked enough for my liking, but this one was. I highly recommend this spot if your in Gilbert, AZ.

While reading Google news, an article popped up of the top places for baked goods and Squarz Bakery & Cafe was listed. We were down the address and literally drove right over. Initially, I wasn't impressed when I walked in and didn't know what to expect. After placing my order and waiting roughly 20 min for a half dozen items, we were all in sugar heaven. Damn those pastries were good! You are definitely my new favorite spot. Thanks for satisfying my sweettooth!

Small stripmall spot with delicious pastries. Tried the Spinach & Feta pie, which was wonderful. Meal price includes a side and a drink, which I thought was a pretty decent deal (<$9). Croissants were good, but maybe a bit on the dry side. Limited (bottled) drink selections, and very limited inside seating. Service was excellent, very helpful & friendly. The Cosmic Croissant was fun & tasty, a bit more on the sweet side. For something different & out-of-the-ordinary, I'd highly recommend Squarz.

The Cinnamon Roll Croissant is by far the best pastry I have ever had. I continuously come back for it, and their other croissants are top notch as well. I’ve had the chocolate as well, and they are so fresh!

Food here is amazing. Tried three mini meat pies with a sausage and egg sandwich. The pastries were wonderfully crisp and flaky. The bakery is super tiny with almost no indoor seating aside from a couple long bar style tables looking out the window and one full table along with a table for two. More seating is outside which may be why everyone was ordering to go. In the future I'll probably do take out orders but the food is simply fantastic. Heard them explaining how they soak the croissants overnight in egg yolk and heavy cream. No wonder they are amazing. I think I found a new regular spot. They are on the way home for me and I'll definitely be coming in again. Since everything is fresh may be best to order ahead to avoid a wait.

I had the mini lentil pie, mini mushroom pie and berry croissant. They will not disappoint. They are wildly delicious. Incredible flavours with light, flaky crust. Such a cute and quaint establishment.

Hands down, no question about it, one of the BEST breakfast sandwiches I've even had in my life! Egg, Parmesan and a very nice helping of avocado on a wonderful flaky croissant. Just superb. The staff was really nice too and the coffee was great! Will definitely be back.

I went in to support a smaller business like normal. It's a small place, 1-2 seats inside. A couple tables outside. I am a secret biscuits and gravy fan. They had a sausage and gravy croissant. Let's start off the biscuit like croissant. So flaky and buttery. The sausage had a little different flavor than you would expect breakfast sausage to have but it was good. The gravy was only the thing lacking and that's because there was very little. Staff was awesome.

This place is delicious. I was able to try the chipotle chicken sandwich and also got a bunch of the pastries for my whole family to try. We tried the red velvet croissant, lemon, cosmic, chocolate and almond and they were all so tastey and made to order. Will definitely go back. I wish I would've got a picture of them all but below is the red velvet croissant.

They were just in the paper as Arizona's best bakery, yet they didn't have additional staff to deal with the extra people visiting. Otherwise the pastries were amazing. I would definitely go again after the publicity rush dies down a bit. Definitely give them a try, they earned the best bakery title for sure.

I have been reborn. Could these really be The Croissants I've been looking for in Phoenix for so many years? Thank you not covering up your perfect almond croissants with glaze and other crap that others use to hide their mediocre pastries. Thank you for the chocolate croissant fresh out of the oven. Thank you bringing a tiny piece of Paris to Phoenix. Much love from a snobby foodie.
