Engrained Cafe - Tempe - Photo album

Really good locally sourced organic food. They always have vegan and gluten free items on the menu. Drinks and chili dusted potato chips are included with your meal.
Used to eat at Engrained regularly in the "before time". Loved it. Had a lunch meeting there for the first time since last year. The food was surprisingly mediocre, especially for the $10-15 price range. Four people in our group (including a job candidate) and nobody was thrilled with their food. A
My gosh, the miso glazed salmon is my fav! Staff is way friendly and is a nice place to kind of step back and relax.
One of the best places to eat on ASU campus. Fresh, local food. A little pricey for on campus restaurant but totally understandable because the food is always fresh and they use local items. Also, they have several vegan and vegetarian options! And unlimited chips and drinks are included when you pu
The food is always fresh and delicious, and I love the handmade potato chips that you can nibble before the food arrives. This place can get backed up at lunch time, which can lead to a long time standing in line to pay. The pesto turkey burger is delicious, and I love their butternut squash soup.
A really nice kind of hidden spot above all the hustle and noise downstairs. There's always a ton of HEALTHY things to choose from daily, including many delicious vegetarian and vegan options including dessert. Everything is presented beautifully andreally yummy and locally sourced. Great for group
Tasty food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. If you use ASU id to pay then there is no tax plus homemade chips and drinks are always included. They use local and environmental friendly food sources as well. My favorite place around the campus.
Great food but EXPENSIVE. You can get better food for the same price elsewhere, just have to get off campus. You're mostly paying for the convenience. Not sure why others say it's "affordable," particularly for a college student!
Amazing restaurant. Service is fantastic and the food is awesome but I love how they pride themselves on ethically sourced and their passion to end climate change. This place is worth the money
This is the best place for lunch in the ASU area. The food is fresh, organic and sustainable. The selection is great and its priced comparably to other dining options. Oh, the food is delicious.
Food was good. Not much variety. Also pretty expensive for what you get, but drinks are free
Good food. I would say excellent service but they forgot the lunch for someone in our group. That might be a fluke. Have eaten here a few times without any problems I recall.
The food is second to none and the menu is diverse. The location is great right in the middle of ASU. While it is not the cheapest or typical college meal, the quality of the food is well worth the price.
Very nice place with a wonderful history of recycling. The vegan menu is very good and, althought the prices are a little expensive, they provide you plenty of free beverages and chips.
Word bank time!!! Chips, lamb, chips, lamb, burgers, fries, artisans, craftspeople, big place, lots of seating, exquisite flavors, cups, plates, soda, PIZZA UP!, Panini's, Quesadilla, Tortillas, lentils, health, students, faculty, people who care, tons of people, wild rush's, quality....
Friendly staff and nice food, you probably want to time your visit here - as this location get very busy, very quickly (and so it should, on the main campus of America's largest public University).
The food is phenomenal and vegan friendly. Fresh, local, ingredients.
It's fun to see your meal before you order. Lots of appetizing options.
