This is definitely good for a unique ice cream experience. With that being said, it is a little pricey and the ice cream itself isn’t particularly special, so you are paying for the novelty. Nevertheless, it’s still worth it and the service is always really good. Out of the options that I’ve gotten here, my favorite has been the taro, with my least favorite being the mint chip
Went in with bunch of friends and had good experience. Had to wait for long time to get my order but then it was worth it. Thai tea was also excellent. $6.95 for ice cream is bang for the buck.

It was amazing and you can watch how they make you rolled ice cream the service was great but took like 30 minutes from order to getting our ice cream but it was only two people working and it was kinda busy so expected to be a wait
Took me three tries to get here when they're open (previous times I was there too early and couldn't stick around long) and the wait was worth it. Ordered the s'mores one, it came out really great (they even toasted the marshmallow too!). Loved seeing how they make the rolled ice cream. Would recommend this. Also the first time I tried the rolled ice cream. Will order again the next time I'm in the neighborhood.
Good vibes and great flavors. I lived in chandler were I first tried them when they were in chandler fashion mall. But found them in tempe and always up for it. Customer service is good as well
First rolled ice cream experience after seeing it all over TV and social media. We tried the s'mores and choco mania (cookies and cream). They have an interesting variety of flavor combos. It was a little pricey and I would've liked it better if you could pick your size.
Rolled ice-creams are finally here in Arizona. It was good if not great. A little bit pricey for the quality.
Disclaimer: this is/was my first rolled ice cream experience so I may be biased.
If you're like me you've seen 100's of videos of street vendors carving out rolls of ice cream and thought to yourself, "that looks so amazing and delicious!" I knew it wasn't long before it hit the mainstream and here we are.
Rolled Avenue is a quiet spot tucked away in the plaza on University & Rural that hosts the Tempe Improve and Buffalo Wild Wings. It's not overly extravagant but make up for that with the quality of their treats! We ordered the "Romantic Bangkok" & 'ChocoMania" and the two young ladies went straight to work. The metallic clanking of the frozen dish surface "clinked" in unison as the chopped, mixed and spread our ice cream out. There's only one serving size and believe me it's more than enough. We got 5 thick rolls into our cups and had them topped with whipped cream for good measure. Delicious! the cool, crisp flavors are the perfect remedy for these Crazy Hot days!
One nice touch to the interior is the "Wishing Wall" which is a collection of small notes covering a large section of the back wall. It's a fun concept and one that has clearly be taken advantage of. Although, there was no mention of it, or how it worked when ordering. We did not see any sheets of paper or pens/pencils around. It would have been nice to have been given a note with our order to add to the way. It would have made for a great pic.
All in all Roll Avenue does the trick for those looking for their rolled ice cream experience. I won't say they are the best or worst because I have no basis for comparison. I can say that this is quality ice cream with good variety and decent prices.
Great place to grab some delicious ice cream. Need more improvement on their interior seating area.
Super cute & very yummy! Highly enjoyed the ice cream & the staff was very friendly.
