Great experience for an African cuisine newbie!! Recently met a friend from Nigeria and after chatting for a bit decided to look for some authentic Nigerian food. Came across Jollof King which happened to be very conveniently located near my office. I had no idea what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I opted for the Chicken Balequaise with Jollof Rice and Fried Plantains. Everything was absolutely fantastic. The food was deliciously seasoned, the chicken was juicy and the small portion of stew that they served went nicely with the rice for just the right amount of spice. I will definitely return to try additional dishes!

Nice meal, great ambience and you get to pick 3 sides! However, pricing is a little bit on the higher side.

Slow service at lunch if not doing buffet. But food is great!

The food was good, but our order got mixed up. Our order also took longer than typical - we ordered the spiced plantains, which take longer to prepare. The staff seemed eager to please, down to earth, and courteous. Overall we enjoyed our meal experience. They are trying to get their new restaurant recognized. I hope that they succeed - I appreciate the diversity that they contribute.

I loved their jollof rice, best African restaurant in the Phoenix valley area.

Really enjoyed my egusi soup. Wasn't spicy at all, was able to enjoy it. I love it. Will be going back again.

Here was a restaurant we never knew existed until I drove by it the other day. My wife and I decided to try it out last night. Good decision. We had the stewed goat and rattaouille with mixed vegetables and fried plantains. The food was very tasty and satisfying, service was prompt, and the place was clean. We will be back.

Great food, unique experience! Games on the wall are able to be used by patrons to play which made us feel like we should come back and try it. Never eaten African food before so it was awesome to try. Staff was friendly and welcoming, we'll definitely be back.

The FuFu 🤤wish I had more goat but it was actually perfect and the sauce was great. I love the atmosphere.

Food was great! I was explained my choices as there are several, then was repeated back to make sure I was clear on what I ordered. I'm not a big meat eater so I really enjoyed my non meat meal. Just enough spice. I took some home because I couldn't finish it all. Never had such unique Hibiscus drink before, can't even explain the extra flavor. I'll be back!

Literally everything on the menu is amazing but I LOVE the spinach stew!! Good music. Nice laid back environment and the people are always friendly. If you like Spicey food then you gotta try it! A taste of the motherland right here in AZ!

This was such an amazing experience!!! My friend and I went there on a Saturday afternoon. It's clean, the staff is amazing and explained everything to us. We ordered peanut soup, okra soup, spinach, two different kinds of fufu and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Please check out this restaurant and you will not be disappointed...plus the music rocks as well!

Food is really really good! And that is their saving grace... because the customer service is starting to lack. It took me almost an hour to get an order that I was told would take 20 min. I get it was being made fresh and it was delicious but please communicate the real time up front so I can make decisions and plans! Also double check the order. Almost forgot my stew and I would have been upset when I got home. Thank you
