Excellent place for any any occasion. I went here on a date night with husband and was pleasantly surprised. First off... I was looking for a store front, not an actual house. Think 20s Era -with tall ceilings and beautiful windows, flooring, and chandeliers which lent their gentle lighting. The dining area was gently lit, but not so dark to be disconcerting. The tables were set wide enough to not knock into other tables, and can accommodate a wheelchair. (We went up the front steps but did not notice a wheelchair ramp....but neither was I looking for one- sorry about that!) I would advise that the steps be either repainted or redone so that you can tell the difference between the steps. The service was wonderful and responsive. We didn't have to wait forever for the check and our drinks were never empty. I found out that the deserts are handmade daily by the chef. I was disappointed that they didn't have cannolis or tiramisu. But they did have 6 kinds of cheesecake. The meal opened with fresh bread that came with an herbed olive oil. We chose to have 2 entrees- Veal Parmesan as well as the Spaghettti alla Bruzzi. Both of these entrees came with a side salad. I chose to upgrade to a different salad offered on the menu for a small fee. The tomato salad was great. It comes with a house vinaigrette. The vinaigrette in conjunction with the tomatoes reminded me of Bruschetta. It was light and refreshing. The portions of the Veal and spaghetti were just right. It's enough for a healthy appetite or a small appetite with some to go for lunch the next day. The entrees did have extra sauce (better to sop up with the provided bread.) I suspect that we could definitely asked for items to be lightly sauced, but I enjoyed it. They did have a wine list and cocktail drink list. It appeared to have a good mix with options to order wine by glass or bottle. Cocktails/mixed drink priced per order as normal. We did not imbibe so I cannot comment on the quality of the drinks. The server was wonderful and friendly and informative. The ladies restroom was well stocked, very clean, and disability enabled. I would defintely recommend this restaurant as a place to go for italian.

We had a great experience and the food was excellent! We had stuffed mushrooms (appetizer), chicken antonio with spaghetti meat sauce (mine) and lasagna (his).

This place is amazing!
Best Italian restaurant I've been to in years.
Wait staff is so friendly and accommodating.
Ask for Mallory, so helpful and nice.
I'll be back there asap for sure.
Check the pics. Nuff said? 😆

The waiting in this restaurant is not acceptable. My husband and I got there at 7:30pm we were told it would be 45 minutes for a table but the reality is that at 10:00 o’clock we still didn’t have dinner. We understand that employees calling sick can impact the kitchen and slow things down, perhaps it would be best to turn people away.
The food was good but just small portions so after all that Wait we left hungry.
The white small pizza belongs in a children’s menu.
People are very friendly, bartender was great. Our server was obviously overwhelmed, she was showing how stressed out she was.
When she suggested we order a bottle of wine she didn’t make sure we get the same House Cab we had been drinking at the bar, the wine was horrible but this is partially our fault for not asking. She was sweet lady and tried to make it better by giving me a glass of wine.
In summery super friendly place, very busy Saturday night, good food.
Trying to accommodate everyone can sometimes back fire. We will try again when passing through in the future.
Just an honest review from ‘out of Towners’ we wish them the best.

Came here for our yearly wedding anniversary dinner. We were highly disappointed. Have been eating here for years but sad to say this was our last time. It so hot in there I could barely eat my dinner. I spoke with the waiter about it and he said he did try to bump their thermostat down but it was 80 degrees in there. Our food was not the same good Italian food it had been for years. Much smaller portions and higher price. I’m so sad to see and taste the changes. I wish people would stop changing things that aren’t broken! We want the old mom and dads back!

What a wonderful family, they make you feel so welcome to their restaurant. My wife always orders the same meal; but I switch it up and find every meal to be delicious! Mom & Dad's the best!

As an Italian from NY, I was disappointed with the food but the service was WONDERFUL. Calamari was not authentic (most likely store bought & frozen). And the cocktail sauce that came with the calamari was in a to- go container with a lid ??? The bread was just a loaf of bread, not true Italian bread. I ordered the chicken capri & should have been called butter with chicken instead. My daughter ordered the stuffed eggplant & was served cold. My husband could throw his meatball through the window and his sausage was dry and over cooked. While the parmesan cheese was not offered and tasted like it came from a can. Our waitress Mallory was beyond excellent and provided us with amazing service. Hope this review helps improve the quality of food here!!

$18 for two small, dry chicken breasts with nothing but two lemon wedges on the plate? Not a fan...

Best true Italian around. I have loved Mom and Dads over 25 years and can't imagine anyone giving a bad review. Everything from the bread to the pasta is home made and the atmosphere is like visiting home and the lasagna is addictive. If your hunting somewhere to enjoy a slow paced European style of dining (not rushed for table turnover) and flavors of true Italian food not a franchised cookie cutter meal then Mom and Dads is the place. The price is perfect for what you get. Not many places are left that combine an evening filled with great food made from scratch, a friendly owner and staff, and a relaxed atmosphere to slow down and enjoy friends and family. Hope they are around for another 25 years or more.

Great People. It is such a treat to eat at a restaurant that not only has good food, but has people who care. The owners care about their patrons and have added items that are requested especially by their customers. They offer gluten free items and whole wheat options as well as vegetable substitutions. They make their own bread and pasta and sauce and things are made to order. It is worth the trip and the wait. If you can, try some of their homemade desserts or take one home. Because the owner is always there, you should feel free to let them know immediately about any problems that arise. They are more than happy to make it right. I personally have never had any problems. I have been patroning this establishment for over 20 years.

Not Worth the $$. It's overpriced and the food isn't all it's cracked up to be. The spaghetti was absolutely disgusting. Not worth the money. Last time I went, the host was stuffing his face with bread while waiting on people. Just one more thing adding to the tacky atmosphere.

Excellent. I have recommended this restaurant to many people. Sometimes when I go I know everyone and other times, I don't recognize anyone. It is so quaint and family friendly. Love the staff. Love seeing the owners. Love the new specials. Love the desserts! Can't wait to go back..

Classic. I've been going to Mom and Dad's for over 15 years. The food is excellent home style Italian. The pasta is cooked to perfection and the sauces taste fresh and home made. The staff have always been courteous and prompt. I highly recommend Mom and Dad's.

Very expensive! Service is slow. The food was just okay, nothing amazing that I would pay that much for again. We won't go again.

This is the best (white) bread ever! I think they put some olive oil in it and some salt and pepper. I guess that is what makes it so good. The garlic bread tastes so yum. It tastes like our garlic bread, only it’s a little bigger. It tastes better. The pizza was so good, because of the pepperoni. I like my crust softer, like Red Elephant’s. I ate it all. Likes: The white bread, garlic bread, and pizza! Dislikes: None Thumbs up or thumbs down: Thumbs up!
