If waterfront dining in ideal romantic settings with a vista of the city of San Francisco across the bay sounds appealing, then Luna Blu is an experience you must try. I came here on my honeymoon and found the most warm, elegant ambiance in a beautiful locale with views of the San Francisco Bay and skyline of San Francisco. Wild bougainvillea and fragrant fresh roses adorned the outside dining space that was kept at the perfect temperature by outdoor heaters leaving me comfortably warm and relaxed and engaging all senses of sight, smell, touch. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being obtrusive allowing for the perfect romantic date. I selected the Cioppino of fresh Salmon, monkfish, clams, mussels, calamari, prawns in a light tomato garlic broth. I asked for sommelier suggestions and with the servers in depth knowledge of wine (both its region and unique characteristics) chose a white feudo maccari from Sicilia. My entree was exquisite with aromatic layered flavors and tender saporific textures melting on the palate. If I wasn't on a romantic date, I honestly would have probably licked the plate. The wine was opulent, refined, intellectually satisfying and crisp with a hint of fruit. The entire experience was perfect from the moment I entered the restaurant with its twinkling blue lights and expansive paintings and smiles welcoming me. This is not only the best Italian and Seafood I've ever had, it is also the most romantic restaurant I've ever encountered. It's the perfect setting for honeymoons, proposals or anniversary dinners. It's not just a high caliber restaurant, it is a complete romantic memory waiting to be experienced. Luna Blu is the place for romance, a MUST for anyone looking to have their senses heightened with delicious food, delectable wines and a seriously romantic setting.

We ordered fried calamari with zucchini, the ahi tuna/ avocado & burrata with a little truffle oil cream for starters ! Everything was so deliscious , fresh and unique! Then all 4 of us ordered the beet taglione w/ fresh crab meat and a champagne cream sauce - We will be coming to Luna Blu every time we come to town ! And we can’t forget how deliscious the profiteroles were for desert ! So impressed with this restaurant and the view of the bay and marina just completed our perfect meal !

This restaurant made our night - the food and the service were beyond compare! Soft shell crab, crab bisque, caprese salad started everything on a high note but the entrees - purple potato gnocchi with speck in a mushroom sauce and lemon sole with garlic spinach were just too delicious for words!

We spent our day in Tiburon (after staying in Sonoma for a few days), and, after asking locals who seemed to know food for their recommendations, we decided to check out "Luna Blu" after hearing good things. This is a lovely little blue/white gem on Main Street with dream-like views and we met the owner Crystal during the day when we checked out the menu and atmosphere to see if this was our selection for dinner....and both agreed it was! Crystal was warm and welcoming and we looked forward to coming back in a few hours for dinner. When we later arrived, we were thrilled to have the best seat in the house reserved for us overlooking The City, the marina, and Tiburon. Our server, Jon, was the perfect mix of down-to-Earth, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We decided to go with his recommendations, and it served us well, as this was one of, if not, the best meal we've ever had together....and we define ourselves as big "foodies." Each course was better than the next. Everything was cooked with top-notch ingredients, skill, and you could tell....passion. We savored every bite! When we returned home from our vacation, we looked up the website and read about Crystal and Renzo's honeymoon story, and found ourselves even more endeared to them and Luna Blu. We are already planning our trip summer 2017 to go back, but this time, to also include an afternoon tea (as Crystal is English and incorporated this tradition into the restaurant).

This was our second visit, this time for dinner. We were not disappointed with our meal, service, our decor. Our salad, a Caprese, was the absolutely best we've ever had. Our entrees and dessert were very tasty, too. We definitely will return!

A wonderful experience!! We were celebrating our 5th anniversary. I had brought roses earlier and they confirmed our table by the water. The service was well paced, not rushed. The chef/owner came out to greet us and other diners. Food was great!! Overall, a great place to eat.

It's the million dollar view, and I would argue the best Italian food in Marin County. Yes better than Il David in San Rafael, and I'm not going to change my mind. Romantic and cozy, try the lemon cloud for desert while watching boats in the bay.

Very small intimate place with a few inside tables, and a nice patio looking out into the marina/harbor. Great view of SF Bay. Ordered four things and three were very good. However, the entrée was not. The ravioli was undercooked. The cannoli was great, as was the tomato basil soup and the calamari. The patio had a great view, Elvin gave us great service, and the Illy coffee was endless and delicious. Would I give them another try, absolutely.

We had a great meal here. Only 4 stars because the prices were very high for the dishes, I would have liked a bit of different flair for the dollars. Although I’m sure the retail rent is ridiculous here. It would have been nice for them to have taken some different and unusual culinary chances. Had a bit of a wait but service was good. We ate on the patio, nice views with naked sculptures. Stared at male genitals coming out of my husbands head the whole meal. Weird. The white chair seats were very uncomfortable. Made for a child’s butt it seemed, the edges dug in on the sides. We had the Caesar salad which was superb and excellent! The Tagliolini al granchio was good but would have liked maybe a few chunks of beets as there was very little in the pasta. Good amount of tasty crab on top. The Polpette Al Sugo was good, a bit dry and dense, lacked maybe some fresh herbs? The French fries were perfection. The Profiteroles were delicious.

This place is GORGEOUS!!! The food is amazing too lol. I wanted to try this place for a while and it does not disappoint! We decided to dine outside and had a beautiful view of the bay. The soundtrack of gentle waves splashing below us was a really nice touch too. The interior is well appointed too with a sailing/nautical/sea theme. It's small but that's not a bad thing and let's face it, that's how the bay area is. We decided to have a drink before dinner and I appreciate that they have a wide range of selections to choose from. My wife ordered the Cioppino and I went for the Filetto Al Gorgonzola and both were amazing! I originally was craving a pasta dish but saw that and had to have it. I'm glad I did as the texture of the Filet was so nice. Definitely no shortage of flavor and the presentation was kinda cool too. My wife's Cioppino looked super good and the scent of it made me have food FOMO. We shared a Tiramisu afterwards and watched the sun go down on the bay. It was an amazing experience. Lastly, the service was top notch. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the whole menu. In closing, places like this are not just about the food or location, it's the experience. Don't take my word for it though, grab a loved one and head over, you'll love it.

Excellent Italian restaurant with plenty of awesome outdoor seating overlooking the marina. We ate here twice on a recent trip to Tiburon, and had great meals each time. I got the risotto first, then the bolognese, both delicious. Tiramisu was heavenly. Great drinks as well, and our waiter was very attentive and charming. We'll definitely return!

Such an extraordinary spot to have informal breakfast. They have a phenomenal porch and it's secured so the sun isn't thrashing on you the entire time. I come here constantly and the administration is constantly fantastic. All that I've had has been yummy and they take reservations (which is dependably an or more for me). I would state that the main thing that I wish they did was grow their informal breakfast menu somewhat more. In any case, that still shouldn't prevent you from resulting in these present circumstances place since everybody is excessively decent and that back porch region is only a magnificent spot to have a pleasant loosening up feast. Incredible spot to most likely have a memorable date!

I really liked full experience here at Luna Blu. Its a nice comfy place and they have setup outdoor seating in the deck behind the building right on the water. The views are great. It was pretty chilly the day we went out for brunch here, but they had several heaters setup on the deck that made it really nice. The food preparation was also really great. I enjoyed my spinach and feta ravioli a lot. My friends got the Sicilian omelette which was really huge. Do try their mocha tiramisu as well.

Went on a rainy Saturday at 3:30. The chiopinno was excellent, fresh fish and clams, rich tomato flavor, not overly salted. The garlic spinach side was properly wilted and the garlic was mildly crunchy. I would order both again. Impressive wine list, with many Italian selections. The Olianas Vermentino Chardonnay worked well with the meal. Validated parking, a nice extra. The service was friendly and responsive.
