Although Bluestone is known for and stresses seafood, I had one of the best steaks I've ever had there. Our waiter was superb, great experience every time.
Consistently delicious food and FANTASTIC service!!!!! For all of you complainers out there, if this restaurant can't make you happy,you are not a happy person!!!! We LOVE Jason!!!! Whether he is behind the bar or serving, he is FANTASTIC!!!!! PS: For all of you cheap tippers out there, if you go to a fine dining such as Bluestone, you should be tipping 20%, PERIOD. They don't employ rude employees so don't forget the hard working, WONDERFUL staff!!!!!
Clean and consistent. Drinks are always on point. Food is always served the same way every time we go. It is an amazing place if you want a guarantee that your food will be good. Oysters are amazing. Utensils are CLEAN and never had anything questionable come up.
Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful. Had the Crisfield stew, seared ahi tuna, cream of crab, tomatoe moz salad. All items were WONDERFUL. The ambiance was also wonderful, sat in Terrace room, which had water running down the walls. Our waitress was also wonderful, not overextended and very attentive on a busy night. This by far is now one of my favorite spots. Will definitely return. Desserts were also wonderful, yes everything was wonderful. Thanks Bluestone!!

Went here for Mother's Day and it was fabulous. First of all, the atmosphere is just beautiful. We sat close to a fountain, which made it feel very tranquil. It wasn't too loud or overcrowded, just the perfect amount of people. Our waitress was very prompt and friendly. For the appetizer we ordered the Pan Sautéed Gulf Shrimp. It was great: the shrimp were cooked perfectly, the sauce was just right, the mushrooms were good and I usually don't like mushrooms cooked by restaurants because they're usually overcooked and chewy, and the grit cakes just brought it all together. Delicious! Then for the meal I ordered the filet and crab cake. This was the best crab cake I've had, hands down. And I've eaten many crab cakes living in Maryland! It was so moist with nice big chunks of crab meat and barely any filling. It was flavorful and had a nice crust on it with barely any filler. And the roasting fingerlings, while they could have used a tad more seasoning, were cooked perfectly as well. I'll definitely be going back!
Been here twice, both during non-busy lunch hours. I am a fan to say the least. Nice and bright inside with a nice charm. Food was great, too. Really enjoyed the shrimp salad sandwich and crisfield stew. A bit expensive though. Will be back.

Great HH Thursday Specials. Went with friends for half price apps on Thursday and will go again. Looking forward to trying their entrees out sometime. Did have some difficulty getting the attention of the waitress, but she kept our pitcher of sangria full!
Worth the drive. I live in Ellicott City and Bluestone is not around the corner BUT always worth the drive

What came as a surprise is that they offer some light fare, affordable options that come with the same great quality, service and atmosphere!
Dan loves seafood, so he chose Bluestone, a County restaurant known for seafood, to celebrate his birthday recently.
Today was My first time experience here was great. The Cream of Crab soup was amazing! the best I've ever had (raked 10). I had the Seafood Bake that was good (ranked 8). My main course was the Ocean and Gulf (ranked 8). The sauce was good but really stood out with the Crab Cake. Overall I would eat here again.

Came for a baby shower, and the food was just amazing. Staff was so attentive and accommodating. I had the tenderloin salad that was absolutely delicious, light but filling for a lunch. Would highly recommend this salad and Bluestone to all my friends and family.
My daughters bridal shower. Beautiful. Great service, food was very good. Plenty of wine, not crowded. Room to walk around and socialize with guest.
Good service and drinks. We enjoyed everything except the short rib (the dish smoothered in gravy) and the chocolate old fashion. Otherwise, quick service. Also great sunday dinner pricing.
The food & service was pretty good! The menu is heavy on the seafood side, so if you're not into seafood, this isn't the spot for you! Also, it's not cheap, so be prepared to spend some money lol. We had 3 servers, for a table of 3 adults & 2 children. They were really nice, accomodating & didn't rush us to leave, which I really appreciated! I'd go again! We went on a Friday, around opening time (3:30pm). It was packed by the time we were leaving.
It was our first time there and no regrets. The food was delicious!!!! Love the atmosphere and scenery, very clean. The staff and manager were friendly and attentive. We only ordered on the regular menu since it was around lunch and didn't want nothing too much. (Curry chicken salad, Firecracker Salmon, Fish and Chips. Appetizers: Fried Green Tomatoes and Drunken Mussels). We will come back to try other food on the menu. You will not be disappointed at all. Did I mention you can book a small to large event there as well for any occasion...I will keep that in mind for future engagements.
