Gated at the entrance. A very active & well maintained community. A little off the beaten path, but well worth it.
Chef prepared very delicious food with nice presentation. Friendly service of course.

Big Thank you to our favorite waitress Ms. Heidi, who always brings her cheerful attitude, smile and knows all the specials of the day :) So far I have enjoyed a tuna sandwich's, sweet potato fries, Cesar salad with shrimps..liked it all.

We found online ad just got in town. Was surprised to find in a resort. Went through a guard shack. Worth the trip. Mu husband had the fish and chips and I had the chicken marsala. Fantastic cuisine. Their biscuits melted in my mouth. Reminds me of a croissant. My husband had an orange bud in pretty good.

The high season menu and addition of Mr. O as the new manager has been an awesome for the Blue Heron. Can you say FRESH? They make all things fresh. I had the best Freshly made Eggplant Parmesan with fresh zuddles and kale (zucchini noodles). Huge, great flavored portions! And the fresh item list continues... Spinach & Artichoke dip, Cauliflower steak, fresh seafood (sells out quickly!)... No Sysco trucks deliver at this restaurant 👍

I ordered the fish fry. It was delicious. The Cole slaw was nice and cold and fresh, just needed more dressing. It was kinda dry. Overall, very good though

Pretty decent food with a menu that should have something for everyone. It's very convenient if you're in the community, but it's not the kind of thing I'd go out of my way for - especially considering you'd have to check in through the community's gate guard to get there. We happen to be staying a few weeks in our RV so it's convenient for us. We've been in a couple of times and are glad to have this option available.

Fried goat cheese wheel with balsamic drizzle and bread chips: perfection. Basic cheeseburger p.l.t.o: juicy, not greasy, cooked medium: perfection. Crinkle fries hot and crispy. Love this place! We stayed in the Great Outdoors for a month and frequented the Blue Heron several times during our stay. Love all their soups! Their food was fresh and the garlic rolls for dinner were amazing!

We went on Thursday and it was Fish and Chips night, so we thought let's go for it! It was very good. The fish was a moist and flaking Pollack with a batter type coating. The fries were crispy and perfectly done. The cold slaw was ok, maybe needing a little bit of vinegar but it's hard to say, since everyone has their own take on slaw. Overall, we will definitely be back. The staff was warm and friendly.

We tried this place for Sunday Brunch. It did not disappoint. The service and food we awesome. Jessica, our server, was plesant and so attentive. Food was top notch and price was just right. Enjoy the $5 unlimited mimosas. We will definitely be returning.

I was so excited to try this place and we were celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary. We left disappointed. We both had the ribeye steaks with potatoes and vegetables. The steak was not a good cut and had a lot of fat. The staff was very nice and attentive but there was only one other table besides ours. We won't go back.

I was pleased by the crock of French onion soup which was served piping hot. It was sweet and tasty.
Others in my family enjoyed an enormous Cobb salad, beautifully presented with a variety of vegetables and garnishes; buffalo chicken sandwich with seasoned French fries and amPhiladelphia-style cheesesteak.
Any of these menu items are highly recommended.

I had the mussels and they were fabulous. Ice cream ball with pecans,, chocolate, Carmel, whipped cream and cherries for dessert so good. Our waitress was new and very nice bur overwhelmed. Will go back.
