Clean, good food, but I didn't know that they leave the pilling on the potatoes I can't eat THEM,BUT still good food, far prices staff could smile a bit more but over all Yes I do recommend this place.. I had the 3 meat omelet with cheese home potatoes toast very Good

📣 HIDDEN GEM ALERT!! We traveled to Toledo, OH over the wknd and wanted a diner style breakfast. This place has a homey, warm, comfortable feel that was surprisingly refreshing 😊 .... You're greeted right away, not by a hostess, but by THE ENTIRE FLOOR STAFF and anyone else who makes your acquaintance! There is a dedicated wall in back filled with photos of veterans and those who are currently in the armed services that is truly humbling. Not to mention a book shelf with various books donated by patrons; which you're free to take one as well as donate. Our waitress was wonderful, very accommodating always making sure we had what we needed/wanted. I order the steak and eggs (prepared medium) with country potatoes that I quite enjoyed. Now, I will say that I had to add salt to my steak, but other than that breakfast was good. My fiance ordered the corned beef hash with eggs and bacon while the kids both had french toast. Everyone enjoyed their meals as well as the overwhelming hospitality! I'd definitely recommend this diner to travelers and locals alike. Price point was good, foods good with a wonderful staff and great atmosphere. Thank you KT's!
Where to start.... where to start? Ok so the food was delicious and the cook didn't skimp out neither. I enjoyed every bite. It was very homey and felt like walking into grandma's kitchen. The other customers were super friendly and so was the staff. We didn't feel rushed and the staff wasn't rushing us to get out the door which made it all the more enjoyable. Will definitely be back.
Food on the inside sure was good. Blt topped with delicious bacon. Yummy biscuits and gravy. Good pancakes. Just lacking a little on cleanliness...
I am from Michigan who visits good friends a couple times a month. When I come into town we always eat at Kate's at least once. Great people and great food never been disappointed.
Only been here 3x. The 1st time was when they first opened. It was way to cold in there.
Went back about amonth ago. The food was really good. I had breakfast the 3rd time. They have the best orange juice.
