My new favorite restaurant! We went there on a Friday, 5/18. Arrived about 10 mins before they opened. The line wasn’t too bad. We probably waited about 15ish minutes before placing our order. Nice relaxing music can also be heard outside while waiting line...perfect for visiting with your line neighbors, and sitting down to a wonderful meal. The chocolate case is “conveniently” placed on the way to place your meal order. So, of course I stopped and bought one of everything...lol I had the Bird & Bacon sandwich with their house made lemonade, my daughter had the Brisket & Blues sandwich, and my son-in-law had brisket and pulled pork. It was all very good. They have seating indoor, outside on a covered porch with ceiling fans, some tables just off the porch, and out front on picnic benches with umbrellas. The chocolate truffles are to die for. We can’t wait to go back! I also can’t wait to try their chocolate bread pudding!

This place is incredible. I am a professional chef and a competitive BBQ cook..so finding barbecue worth paying for for me is tough. These guys are killing it. Pork Belly is smoked just right...so salty and fatty like it should be. Brisket was on point, perfectly rendered fat, smoke flavor just where it should be. Dieting for that summer dad bod so the chocolates will have to wait till winter but man did they look phenomenal. Hats off to these guys they truly earned their spot in the top 50 BBQ joints in texas.

This is one of the best barbecue places in Texas. The pork belly is so awesome and delicious. My husband loves their chopped beef stuffed potatoes. One of the best things about the place though is their customer service. They are some of the nicest people around. I love going here, and I will continue to do so. I have found that if you go after 2 o’clock, the line is not so long. But you also take a chance that they may have sold out. The chocolate truffles are also to live for.

There is no better BBQ around and their mole' is an experience in itself. Their chicken n is consistently moist and juicy and has a flavor unlike any other I have eaten. Dip it in the mole and you'll dream about it in your sleep. Once they are out, they are out. Also, try their jalapeno cheddar sausage. Spicy and delicious!

Tomball has a good thing going with Tejas Chocolate & Barbecue! There’s a nice line for a reason, because the barbecue is that good. My family enjoyed everything we ordered, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend the Dino Rib, Carrot Soufflé, and Smoked Pork Belly. We can’t wait to return!

Everything is delicious. From the perfect brisket, to the complex tastes in the seafood boudin, the scrumptious carrot soufflé and the mouth watering chocolate. Everything I have tried, I have loved !

I’ve been three times but have tried to go at other times and they were either out of brisket or closed. The brisket is truly some of the best I have ever had. The sausage and ribs are delicious. The pinto beans were okay. The potato salad is missing something...maybe ya’ll can add something to make it more flavorful. All three at my table agreed to that. The chocolate is amazing. I’ll be back as much as I can!

Without a doubt the best barbecue I have ever had. I was there last Thursday and enjoyed the pastrami and the carrot soufflé both of which were outstanding.

“No bbq sauce required”. Very moist brisket and turkey!! Carrot soufflé is a must. Met by the owner as we walked in and personal, patient service. Truffles to take home for later a must too. You will Enjoy!!

Fantastic! Waited in line for about 20 min (worth the wait), but they had free beverages to pass the time. Once we ordered, the food was at our table within 5-7 minutes. Everything tasted great and we loved the atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

I honestly can say that Tejas Chocolate & Barbecue is one of the best BBQ I've ever had. I've been to most of the top BBQ places in TX (Franklin's, Snow's, Smitty's, Black's) so I KNOW BBQ. Great place, staff, and surroundings.

Best brisket ever! You need to be patient because there is a bit of a line. That’s because it is so darned good. Super friendly staff.

If this place wasn't good, I wouldn't keep coming back. If you ain't been, you're missing out. This place is just amazingly good and a cool atmosphere in this old house turned restaurant. They're one of the BEST BBQ places in TX and you should def give them a shot. Their brisket is so good and dang, those tacos today were freaking delish. You heard that song Sweet Caroline? Yeah, its SO GOOD, SO GOOD!!!

This place is great! Arrived at noon on a Saturday and walked in the line was at the door. Wait from there was only 15 minutes. The burnt ends were delicious! My partner had the brisket and blues sandwich and he said it was delicious. Plus it had so much meat stacked. Will definitely visit again. Just FYI they do not offer gluten free buns and the only chocolate that was dairy free was the chocolate bar which was a bit pricey at $10 but it is delish.

The food was great. Typical Texas bbq. Moist brisket cooked just right, tender and tasty. The beans were also good and the chocolate bread pudding was excellent. The indoor area is small but cozy. The service was pretty good and timely.

I was in the area for something else and asked for a lunch recommendation. Tejas Chocolate + Barbecue was very enthusiastically suggested. Parking is in a lot across the street. It was busy but had some spots in the early afternoon on a Saturday. Staff were friendly and the food itself came quickly. There is a brief line to order at a counter and then you're given a number to await your food. I ordered a brisket loaded baked potato (see photo) and it was lovely. The brisket can be ordered chopped or sliced and with the potato I got chopped. The sauce is at the table (and you can pick up a little cup to take some home if you have leftovers). It was lovely. Plenty of butter and the potato was perfectly cooked. It was also not too cheesy (which takes away from the brisket). One of the sides we ordered was the Carrot Soufflé and it was amazing. I noticed you could buy a large order of this in the fridge up front. If I knew I was cooking for the upcoming holiday, I would have bought one on the spot to take home. On the way out we picked up a couple of their chocolate items to enjoy later and I certainly did enjoy. The next time I'm in Tomball, I'll certainly return.

Absolutely delicious meats - don't need a sauce they are so juicy, but the bbq and hot sauces are tasty as well. Save room for the chocolate!

Overall excellent choice of bbq, couldn’t recommend the burnt ends enough. The brisket was delicious and not to mention the choice of chocolates. My favorite was the Martha.

Whole. Lee. Cow. This combo of tasty, tasty bbq and amazing, adorable truffles is absolutely *magnifico* 🤌🤌 So I guess I should say "Whole. Lee. Cacao." 🤭 On our first visit 2 weeks ago I got the loaded baked potato topped with sliced brisket. (Extra brisket, I think, actually). So. Dang. Delicious. 🫶 The potato itself is seasoned with their house dry rub, and the skin was supercrispy. Delicious enough that I went back again 2 weeks later (from San Antonio - no quick lunch commute here lol) Yesterday, I tried to order online. They were out of potatoes, but I still drove 45 minutes out of my way just to get truffles. So far the Don't Go Bacon My Heart is the clear favourite - salty, bacon-spiked chocolate goodness!! - but Dr Pepper infused Tejas Float isn't far behind. I love the silky texture of them. So far have also tried Nutty Buddy 👍👍 and the banana-involved Pikachu truffle (SO cute!) Nice selection of beers available, and Dublin Dr Pepper too. Partner wasn't particularly impressed with his 3 meat plate - indicated that the brisket was dry - and it was SO hot in the historic little Craftsman house that we ended up boxing up half our food and having a car picnic, but even so... Loaded potato and chocolate truffles make Tejas a top contender on my list of Favourite BBQ Joints 💜

Good food and chocolates! Their chocolates are pricey, but worth it. I loved my Pikachu chocolate 🥰. The person who rang me up for the chocolates gave me recommendations based on what type of chocolate I liked. As far as food items, I loved their brisket and burnt ends (not pictured). The baked potato was ok - nothing to write home about. They also have wine and beer options! If I were to eat here again, though, I'd order take out. The restaurant was uncomfortably warm for my liking. Overall, this place was solid! It's worth a repeat visit.

Wow, just wow. Best pork ribs I've had at an establishment and it was Friday so the burndt ends (middle) were on the menu. Could cut with a spoon! Also got pork belly which was amazing. Beans were great. Had a line before 11 and was a line and packed when I left. Also picked up 4 chocolates which are even higher quality than the meat! Must have and try if you live in town, Houston area, or just wanna show people some true quality tomball eating. I'll be back. Amazing this is right in town, I believe all the news articles now!

Delicious BBQ for lunch. Had the Brisket and Bleu (Cheese) sandwich as well as the Bacon Coleslaw. Both were delicious. I also had one of their chocolates, but it was eaten quickly (delish) so no pic. Their soda fountain had delicious soft drinks (not the regular soft drink products). I had the lime coconut soft drink and it had great flavor. All in all, a delicious lunch. They were obviously busy for a Saturday, with a steady stream of people entering and exiting, but we were able to get a table and only had to wait a few minutes for our meal.
