Visited October of 2023 after watching a guy on YouTube eat a huge platter at a location in Dallas. I drove up from Houston to try it out and it was really good. 2 of the guys working inside were very friendly and even let me try a hot bite for free to see what it was.. I ordered way more food than I would normally eat since it's a far location and I came here just to try it out. I enjoyed everything I ate and took my leftovers home for my wife which she enjoyed. The staff was friendly and the food was good. But much like everything around town, the prices were kind of high, but that's normal these days. I will definitely be back next time i'm in Tomball.

I could be surrounded by the four largest chicken brands – – and I will drive 5 to 10 miles to go to a Chicken Express.
You cannot beat their, sweet tea – – the sweetest, or the price.
Even when their chicken is cold and old – – it’s still the best.
It’s always been juicy, never dry.
I like this store in particular because they don’t even know you and treat you like royalty.
Don’t wait too late to go – – as they do sell out of food.
And, I like to go in rather than use their drive-thru.
This is our go to place when we visit from out of town. Not sure where they're getting the gizzards from but geeze they're not TX sized anymore. These gizzards were smaller than a McDonald's chicken nugget. No joke. The chicken and sides were great as always though.
The service was the best I have had in a while. All I can say is the young lady was great the cook was great and the manager was great. The atmosphere was family like. The food was spot on and good.

Good food! Had a previous mistake on an order. No biggie just asked to make sure it was right this time. Cook came out and personally assured me it would be right!. They apologized and said it would be a 8 min wait. No biggie! Hot fresh chicken!!! And my order was right!!!

This place is a little on the expensive side when your ordering for family but we like it a lot. The service is ok they don't really say much just grab your payment and hand you your food no extra comments. We have to wait at least 10 minutes for them to make more food every single time we've ever been. Most of the time the sides are cold and soggy by the time we get the chicken. I think paying $60+ the food should be a little better prepared. The last 3 times rolls were not fresh and were dried out chicken was hard and overcooked and tiny tenders. Corn nuggets are delicious (even when they are cold) and sweet. Fried okra is a huge hit in our house fried pickles are really good too but good luck getting any they fun out quick! Fries are good if your getting a small portion but if you get them as a large side they are definitely going to be soggy. The cheesesticks are really good too. Mashed potatoes are good and their gravy is so good to dip everything in. Last time we went our gravy was literally white water. Zero thickness to it so I would assume it was just someone new that made a mistake on that and the rolls. Hopefully it gets better
They have the very delicious, tasty fried chicken, fried gizzards, fried okras, rolls and a lot more so far. Kind of far from where I live, but it's all worth it!
Had NEVER been here before!!!!! To be honest....I totally blame it on their sigh!!!!! Looks like a chicken shot out of a sling shot, but let me tell you the only thing that will be shot from the "sling shot" is your freaking taste buds!!!!!!! Man, is it ever great, tasty, temperature wise, it's hot, loads of flavor!!!!! MAN YOU GOTTA STOP IN IF YOU HAVE NOT YET!!!!!!!!!
Went to Chicken Express for the fish fillets. The fillets are white and likely not cod. The fish is more fish and less breading. Takes 7 - 8 minutes from order to delivered to the table. This fish is not sitting around waiting for someone to order. It's freshly prepared. Its a chicken restaurant. I'm not a fan of the chicken.
Tastes like moms. They have okra, fried pickles, mac n cheese, cole slaw, biscuits and rolls. They also bring your food out to your table.

Livers and Gizzards aren't left to get nasty! When you order them you get them HOT and FRESH! So DELICIOUS 😋 Always great food!
Sooo. I go in to order food. Comes up to $15 and as I pull my credit card out the manager tells the cashier that First Responders eat free. I tried to pay but I was told not to worry and then they said Thank You for my service.
I’m a Paramedic because I love helping people. And I appreciate when anyone gives any thanks to Police, Fire or Ambulance crews. It is t necessary but it sure means a lot after a rough day. That was awesome.
