Not bad, needed a little music or something. Awkward silence within. Need some decor on the east wall, pictures or a border, something to break up the colors. Food was good, fries great, Cole slaw and burger 🍔 were good too. Panini was a little dry, needed a little more pesto in between the chicken. Chicken was cooked good. Soup was really good and the cost was great.

After what was a long time of remodeling the Band Wagon Diner reopened 3+ weeks ago. This is are second meal within a week, Breakfast was the 1st visit and today was Fish & Chips with Onion Ring's and a Crock of French Onion Soup. Everything was delicious and atmosphere was pleasant!!!

The food here is great. Really enjoy the renovation and updated feel to it. Service was wonderful and my sandwich even included a soup which was delightful.

My wife and I went here for dinner for our weekly date night. We like to try different restaurants in Tom's River. I love to cook and have even cooked professionally for many years. I find it very rare to find a decent meal Out so we really enjoy finding restaurants with really good and affordable fare. I ordered stuffed cabbage dreading that I was going to get a version with a ketchup glazed sauce that would remind me of the Encore frozen meatloaf my parents would serve weekly back in the day. i was totally shocked with the cabbage rolls that I was served. The cabbage leaves were tender. The meat and rice filling was perfectly seasoned. The sauce came with the cabbages tasted excellent and seemed to be a crushed tomato base.A very nice surprise. Tasted homemade. They were the best stuffed cabbages that I have ever eaten that weren't home cooked. The service was excellent. Even the coffee was amazing. It didn't taste like the usual fare of bitter coffee mixed with espresso. This dinner is a rare gem for the Tom's River dining experience. I am glad that we will be able to enjoy it for the next few months before the summer crowds start rolling in again.

First time trying the Bandwagon. I've heard good reviews about it. Today was the first day my fiancee and I went and ordered breakfast to go. Haha. It was so delicious and still warm when I brought it home. The bagel was toasted perfectly. I also tried the French toast that my hubby got. That dish was so amazing 👏 can't say enough good things about this place 😊💚

I have had several meals at the bandwagon, and each time the atmosphere ,the service, and the food have all been very very good. The specials are absolutely outstanding, and a great value for the money, especially in this day and age. I would highly recommend any of the food at this establishment. Everything is convenient the parking, location, and the service. If you need a quick meal whether it be breakfast lunch or dinner you won’t be disappointed.

Still the best...the face-lift makes me want to cry for the owner and his hard work and dedication. Now the building is befitting of the same quality and top knotch food that comes out of the kitchen. This place consistently delivers that home cooked comfort food feel! Chicken croquettes are to die for!

Wow! They do everything so well, and if that's not enough, the prices they charge date back to "before inflation". I had the BLT wrap and took half of it home for next day's lunch. By the way, it's served with French fries (fresh, clean oil, not overly salty), Cole slaw, cup of soup, pickle, all for $9.95! Total bill for 2 persons including tip & tax was under $30. Smooth, accessible entry, exit and parking. You must try this place!

Growing up in the area, I will always call this place Mr. Breakfast. Now fully rebuilt and back in operation, the charm is gone. Familiar, yet not. Food was good, but a bit pricey for what it is. Be prepared to wait for a table during peak hours. Service was pretty quick once seated. Food prep didn't take long either and there were no mistakes in our order for a party of 5.

The food was excellent the place was busy I gave the service at three Stars it's not that she was a Bad Waitress but it took her a long time to come back to see if we wanted any more coffee or juice or do we need anything else so by the time she actually came we were like just give us the check but like I said they were very busy so I guess I could understand why it took her a while

Decent food, good service, clean restaurant, food served hot and quickly. If you are looking for 5 star steak house cuisine, this isnt for you. Food is good, nice sized portions, soups i have found are hit and miss, salads are nice sized and fresh, veggie sides are most likely canned or frozen, puddings taste like from can. We have had burgers, meatloafs, prime rib, chicken, sandwhiches, lamb shank and eggs, no complaints from anyone we have gine with. Place is always crowded but havent had to wait more than 15 minutes for dinner. I avoid weekends for breakfast because of the aize of crowds then can be crazy.

We were a party of 10, which is always a challenge, but they sat us within a reasonable amount of time on a Sunday evening, and were very prompt in taking our orders and bringing out the food. Everything was delicious and we were surprised by the amount of food. Soup, fries, coleslaw and pickle accompanied almost everything. And the chicken soup was fantastic. Staff was friendly, efficient and helpful and we were very pleased with our evening there!

Food was really good and our waiter was very nice. How ever when we first came in. Must of been the manager he was so rude like he didn’t say hi he just gave us the menus and table. We found out because they were short staff and we get it. But still as an owner you should be friendly towards your customers if your not then it will be your loss.

Food is good the only problem is a 3 1/4 % surcharge for credit cards that the don't tell you about until you pay bill. You should be informed before you order. I think that is a requirement. It seems some restaurants are doing this now. So prices have gone up and they tack on a surcharge. Just another way to increase profits. So the customer always gets screwed. I think much of this has occurred since the pandemic to make up for lost profits. Also it is a legal requirement that you cannot be charged more than credit card company charges. This was signed into law by the governor.
