First time visiting Driftwood Deli & Sub shop. Sub was of high meat quality and the bread was very fresh. If you are in the area make it a point to stop by. This place is worth the trip. Staff were very friendly also. Overall I had a great experience .

Hands down The Best Sub Sandwich that exists. I’ve been going here for 40 years! The place hasn’t changed. A neighborhood staple not to be missed! No trendy bells and whistles... just a solid traditional old fashioned mom and pop shop serving bigger than your head hoagies here! Bring em to the beach! Bring em to a backyard party. Driftwood for the win!

The sandwiches are absolutely amazing. Great product used in their sandwiches. Prices are great. I'm a big guy and can barley finish a half of sub. The owners are great people. Everyone who works there is so friendly. Definitely my go to place when in the area.

My first time here, I was not enamored, yet I persevered and fell in love with the place. Thumann's cold cuts, wonderful rolls, a nice balance of veggies all add up to the best sub I've found around here in 16+ years. They also have a great pickle barrel and used books. Breakfast sandwiches from Driftwood have been a staple in my life of late. Pork roll with 2 eggs and cheese on a Kaiser roll is reasonably priced at $5 a pop, but they're a little sloppy to eat because they put one egg on the bottom, and one on top, so everything between the bread slides out when you bite into it. When it comes to the subs, part of me thinks they're a shade pricey, but once I start eating, that takes a backseat to deliciousness. They also have very odd hours. They're not odd for these kinds of sandwich shops, but I really don't understand why some delis race to close before anyone even gets home from work. They're open 9 - 4:15 Monday through Friday, so if you have a normal job, good luck ever being able to taste any of their food on a weekday. In my experience, lots of people enjoy subs for dinner, and it seems like they're missing out on an opportunity to increase business. But if they don't need the money, God bless 'em, because they work a dream schedule. Perhaps playing hard to get is part of the allure.

Just moved to Toms River and have been on a mission for 5 months to find the best sub on Fisher Blvd. Driftwood is the best spot by far. Super friendly, fresh, well priced. They are always busy so you know the meat is moving as well. Can't wait to go back again and try more items on the menu! A+

I was looking for an official authentic sub like I used to get at Jersey Mike’s a long time ago so I looked it up on Google and saw a 4.7 stars for Driftwood Deli. I personally would give it a five star rating because it was exactly what I was looking for. I had an Italian substituting the salami with sopersetta And it was excellent I will definitely be returning with the family to get some more sandwiches. The service was very friendly and the food was very fresh .
