Great food. When it comes to Chinese food I've never ventured into too many dishes...but Peking Quick One makes be want to be brave! I walked in expecting to place my order and sit around in your typical empty takeout place. Not so - the small dining area was packed with people who have already figure out what a great place this is and were dining in. I started safe with the steamed pork leak and shrimp dumplings and can't wait to go back and try something new.

Great food. They have an American menu and a home style menu. I've liked everything I've tried there. I would definitely recommend.

Very good food. Two menus, one traditional Chinese menu, and a Home Style Chinese menu. Other customers were ordering from the Home Style menu. Their food looked very good. Next time I will try the Home Style!

The best Chinese Restaurant - Authentic Chinese food. Was introduced to this place by a chinese colleague. I have tried dishes from their regular as well as 'Home Style" menu. All their food is excellent. The "Home Style" is supposed to be authentic Chinese ..... and it's phenomenal.

AAA+ Chinese Cuisine. Restaurant location was a little hard to find - at least for me it was.

Best Chinese in the area! Glad they were able to re-open so quickly after the fire!

The majority of Quick One’s customers are UB students so when we arrived for dinner on a summer Friday night, the restaurant was empty. Unlike our first visit almost two years ago, we stuck to their home-style menu exclusively. Alli and I knew that we had to re-try their Double-Cooked Pork ($9.50) since it’s currently our favorite dish at Miss Hot Cafe and we wanted to compare. We also ordered a plate of their Pork and Cabbage Dumplings ($5.50, steamed) and their Jalapeno Crispy Fish special ($10.50) that day (the cashier told me it’s her favorite dish).

First time trying this restaurant. I got hot and sour soup, shredded pork with jalapenos, and Singapore chow mei fun. The soup healed my soul a bit, there are around 20 to 50 jalapenos in my pork dish, and the Singapore chow mei fun was amazing...except the shrimps those were lackluster. Would reccomend this place to people.

Good service, good prices, and good food. I really enjoyed the Pea tips, it is one of my favorite dishes and they did a good preparation of it. I also like the vegetable dumplings, has leaks eggs and some glass noodles inside, really tasty. The only miss was the Honey walnut shrimp, it’s more like a sweet-and-sour shrimp, the shrimp were a bit too bready for me, but the sauce was really good, had a bit of citrus flavor to it. I would pick a different dish next time though. But definitely go back for the pea tips and the dumplings! Edit: raised up to five stars after really enjoying the leftovers. Attentive and friendly service as well for that extra star.

Delicious, mouth watering and home style Asian cuisine. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and we are glad to discover authentic Chinese food. Every thing tasted superb and prices are very reasonable. Service was quick and food was served fresh. Highly recommended.

Went with a colleague for Chinese New Year eve dinner while on a work trip. Service: Prompt and quick. Not much besides bringing over the dishes, but the girl at the counter was generous with the takeout boxes and even gave us recommendations for things to do in Buffalo. Atmosphere: Not the place to go if you’re looking for ambience. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Chairs are fold-out, you steep your own oolong tea bag in a styrofoam cup of hot water. Despite all this, there’s a sense of being at home or at a quick restaurant in Beijing. I didn’t mind it. Food: We ordered the: Tomato Egg Drop Tofu Soup (西红柿鸡蛋豆腐汤), Pai Huanggua (拍黄瓜), Hongshaorou (红烧肉), Green Pepper Tudousi (青椒土豆丝), and Sweet and Sour Shortribs (糖醋排骨). Very hearty and true to the Northern Chinese style of home cooking: the seasoning was light and savoury, with mild flavours and suitable garnish. Overall: Surprisingly authentic Northern Chinese food. Would come again.

Ordered take out, from top to bottom: #31, #35, #40, #18. Everything was delicious and authentic, if you’re feeling more adventurous I’d recommend you try the #31 it’s spicy and fun. It was super fast; I’d recommend you call ahead and it’ll be done in 15mins.
