Not what I'm used to. Egg foo young is the closest thing I've had to St. Paul (STL). Their patties are fried. I would definitely call ahead, too.

Large portions, made fresh, egg rolls that are the right amount of crisp on the outside and completely tender on the inside. Good prices. Currently only doing pick up orders only.

Best Chinese food in Topeka, by far! Customer service and decor is a little old school- definitely doesn't cater towards those whom enjoy modern decor or sickly sweet customer service- but those aspects are part of the charm and nostalgia, Don't be so quick to dismiss! And eating the family meal in house is a fun experience! She brings you the food and tea on a cart- super charming- can’t wait until the dining room opens again.

You get a lot of bang for your buck. I had the General Tso chicken. I got fried wontons, egg drop soup and fried rice that came with the meal. Right now they are only offering take out and delivery. The way they packaged my order, by the time I got home everything was still hot and fresh. Very good value.

Hunam is a longtime family favorite. They have a good selection of standard Chinese fare as well as their Humanese specialty dishes. They have polite and attentive staff and good ambience.

We love Mabel and the rest of her family and staff. Been returning customers for over 15 years now and will continue to for as long as we can. Wonderful food, amazing staff and hospitality, seriously cannot recommend it enough. Mabel knows and remembers all of her regulars, and is the sweetest lady.
