Fabulous!!!. Don't let the unassuming location and decor fool you - this is the real deal for authentic Mexican food - and great friendly service to boot. I've eaten here many times and the food is always fantastic and authentic. The fresh salsa is so good as are the homeade chips - my favorite dishes include the quesadillas and the soft chicken tacos. Topeka needs more great restaurants like this one.

I stopped by here to eat lunch in a road trip from Saint Louis to Los Angeles! Very friendly staffs, good food and a good variety for a vegetarian!

Amazing to see a family come together to proudly serve Topeka. Had the menudo and Chile relleno and was blown away. Awesome!

I've always enjoyed my time and my meal. If you want some traditional Mexican cuisine, this is a great place for you.
Amazing restaurant. Very homey feel. Love the interactions I have had with the owner who is the son of the original owner. Told me a quick story about taking over and running it for his mom, it was her wish. I gotta say I truly respect that and the food and atmosphere is great. It is restaurants like this that make our city great. Truly a good place to stop in for lunch or grab for a togo lunch. Either way, my experiences have been great.
We have visited this restaurant many times. There was only one occasion of so-so service, including previous visits with same waiter that were great. Everyone is entitled to a bad day now and then. A manager made things right by discounting our meals. We really like their barbecue and steaks. Rarely drink, but love their brews too.
Lupitas is an amazing family owned restaurant! They have been in operation for 20+ years and are still using the same authentic recipes and everything is delicious!! Excellent service and they make you feel like family! Check them out!!
