Really small place, one Chef at the sushi bar. One person waiting staff and a person in the kitchen to assist with the cooked dishes. I've been turned down at least a few times as they were busy so I would strongly suggest to call ahead and inquire for reservation. I now know and would always call a
One of my favorite sushi spots in the South Bay. Traditional Japanese sushi bar and everything is delicious. Omakase is a great deal and it is all premium fish.
Really good authentic sushi and a warm Japanese atmosphere. We can dine and enjoy our time the traditional Japanese way. Highly recommended.
Not cheap but very very good!
This is REAL Japanese food and its absolutely delicious:)
We had some great food and really enjoyed it.
Also - great location, easy and convenient.
And it was Valentine’s Day! This place is busy always for a reason.
Go here :)
We enjoyed the Omakase at Sushi Ken after spending the weekend in Redondo Beach. It's located at the corner of a strip mall and was one of the few establishments that were open at the time. I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant because of the atmosphere and it reminded me a lot of restaurants
Absolutely a hidden gem. A mom and pop establishment, Sushi Chef Ken is a true master. Peep on the walls the competitions he's won. Don't be afraid to make special requests, the fish is always fresh and usually imported. Recommended!
Very unassuming place that serves the very freshest high quality sushi and other Japanese cuisine. We have eaten at Sushi Ken on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Can't say enough good things. Always above and beyond quality presentation, with excellent flavor and freshness.
Best sushi and sashimi I've ever had outside of Japan. Great lunch special too, so you can still enjoy when on a budget.
They've been so careful and considerate throughout the pandemic, that it was literally the only restaurant we felt comfortable getting takeout from. We've appreciated the owners
