Great place to hang out and enjoy a snack over a few beers with friends. A little dark, a little cramped and sometimes a little smokey but in a really relaxed and homey way. I like this place. Always has nice grilled food on a stick. Also, apps and authentic dishes are very good. And if you want a nice vibe, it's worth hanging out.

How can anyone rate this any less than 5 stars???? Great food, great staff, great ambiance. The gyu-tataki is literally to die for. So yummy. This will be one of my top 10 Japanese restaurants while I'm not in Japan.
They could do better with organization and professional service. In several visits each time some errors were made with orders; came late, and/or order never made it to the table but ended up on the bill. I keep returning hoping that the quality of service will match the food.
