I used to come to this place a lot, before they changed for the worst. I think they changed ownership because the service people here need a lesson in customer service and how to run a restaurant. It's unfortunate, because the food is still as good as ever. I too had the misfortune of going in by myself one day and being told I was not welcome without someone else in the party. I've eaten here before with and without companions. This must be a new rule with new ownership. I eat out often, and I have no problem eating alone. This is the only place I've ever been turned away, and it is not as if the restaurant had more than a handful of other patrons. Oh well, their loss. I wonder have they realized how many singles there are out there with an abundance of discretionary monies to spend on eating out. Anyway, I went to Shilla Korean Restaurant in Gardena. They have wonderful food, priced right and the employees are extremely welcoming.

After having a poor experience last year I tried giving this place another chance. I took my family for dinner on a Saturday night. We were charged $85 for 2 adults, a 12 year old and a 9 year old. At the counter I told the owner I was shocked the prices were so high. He clearly was upset and told me "I don't care". My wife was shocked as well and said we could've gone to Gyu Kaku for these prices and had better quality food. My kids were disappointed because they removed the Chinese buffet section. This place is never packed and I can understand why. Maybe Chef Ramsey can come in and whip this place into shape.

The beef, pork, and chicken here are delicious compared to other Korean BBQ places that I've been to. Their short ribs and spicy beef are my favorite!! Their dessert section could use a lil boost, so don't expect having amazing dessert, but focus more on the meats. Their customer service is as good as any other Asian restaurant. Its worth the price, try it at least once.

I would give them a 4 or 5 for the food! But can you say GREEDY and poor customer service??? Had such a wonderful Fathers Day brunch with my hubby, until the server brought our change and my husband waived her down to keep it. Unbelievable!!! She walked over and said "oh! It's a minimum of 10 dollars to tip"...Yes! She sure did those were her exact words! But that's not the end of it, my husband didn't have cash on him and she stood there waiting for him to give her more cash after she saw him open his wallet with just a few buck's he pulled out and demand for it by tapping the table to give her those few buck's he had in his hand!!! Btw that's our first and last time there!!!

We've got stomach ache after we eat in this buffet. We will never recommend this place. hostess was so rude. They keep on staring at us thinking that we cannot finish what we get. And they are not children friendly. They monitor the kid if she is eating and hostess mentioned even ice cream is not allowed for the kid... they are so rude.... very rude..

Kimchi is ok and the meat selection/quality is fine as well. Plenty of heat can be had from the burners, though staff likes to meddle with the settings all the time. Avoid the soups. On the downside, the griddle is not changed during your meal, so carbon crud accumulates. No sesame seed oil as condiment. Overall ok for an all you can eat korean buffett.

The food did not look fresh on my visit. It was a slow day, it might be better on a busy day when the food moves but the experience did not leave me with a good impression.

I call in advance to asked if they are open and when I get there I'm inform that you can't eat here unless it's more than 1 person. I have never been somewhere, where I can't eat because I'm by myself. And to top it off the lady was very rude to me when I asked why that was.
