This Jalapeño Margarita alone earns them 5-stars! My mouth is equal refreshed and on fire!
Just bear in mind they are closed from 2:30-4:30 and those menu pictures you might see on here on this page are out of date, though mostly still accurate. Just ask before you expect certain items. Also, the national shortages are affecting the availability of certain items, like everywhere.

#1 MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN TORRINGTON!!! 100% Service, Service, Service!!!! 💕💕 This was the first time my husband and I had dinner here!! Chips/Salsa …. PERFECT!! You had us at the Salsa… and we knew everything else would follow suit!!! We shared the Fajita Trio…. The Steak, Shrimp and Chicken were juicy and not dry and sided with warm tortillas, grilled onions, bell peppers, avocado slices, shredded cheese, lettuce, pico and sour cream!!! YUMMMO!!! Amazing Margaritas, Atmosphere, Customer Service and delicious food!! Thank you Familia Prado… we’ll be back!!! The Bonine’s in Huntley, Wyoming!!
La Familia Prado is the best of the best for Mexican restaurant in Torrington (and there are several I've tried) and feels like family. When you get there, don't be surprised if there are a few kids working in the restaurant. It's a family business after all. The service is outstanding and attentive and of course, very friendly. Every bit of the food tastes like it's made from scratch-- nothing seems like it's from a can around here. Not only that, everything just tastes healthy, light, just right. The menu is extensive. The restaurant is clean and smells great. Apparently, it's quite a popular place in Torrington although I was visiting from Washington, DC. I can't more highly recommend La Familia Prado. Well done!
Spent 2 days in a Torrington this week and had lunch here today and it was very good! Highly recommend, great food and great service will definitely be back soon! Thank you!
