This is a great place if you want some down home great food. Danny is great and his recommendation was awesome I had was the campfire chicken. I brought my friend from Texas and felt Right at home with the cow skin booths.
A total hidden gem in the middle of dtla. We were greeted quickly and sat within 5 minutes. The service was good and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was so nice that we decided to stay for dessert and lattes. Very good value for what we had. I can't wait to return.
The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because I waited 20 mins before someone realized I was seated. I ordered the Spicy Pasta. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there at C&R in my first visit. It was a very memorable, lovely experience. The fried chicken wrap with fries meal that I ordered was great. My bartender was friendly and conversational. The whole vibe was great! I will be back!

The food is amazing even though we are talking bar food!... very friendly and efficient server as well. They were practicing social distancing and mask wearing.
