This is a great place if you want some down home great food. Danny is great and his recommendation was awesome I had was the campfire chicken. I brought my friend from Texas and felt Right at home with the cow skin booths.
A total hidden gem in the middle of dtla. We were greeted quickly and sat within 5 minutes. The service was good and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was so nice that we decided to stay for dessert and lattes. Very good value for what we had. I can't wait to return.
I had fun. Sunday night naty light 12 oz is 3$. The bar was approximately at 30% capacity. A football game was on the TV screens. Bartenders were attractive AND attentive. I did not wait long to order my next drink on Sunday night. The location was clean. The music, I liked the volume but the songs were cycled before they finished and I HATED that to the point I began to use my headphones.
I will return.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time there at C&R in my first visit. It was a very memorable, lovely experience. The fried chicken wrap with fries meal that I ordered was great. My bartender was friendly and conversational. The whole vibe was great! I will be back!
The food is amazing even though we are talking bar food!... very friendly and efficient server as well.
