We arrived to a super long line (moved pretty quick tho) and oh so worth it! Some of the best ice cream my husband and I have ever had. So creamy and fresh. Great flavor options. There’s a reason this place is the top spot!

Had a regular scoop in a waffle cone of Samooa! Must go back for another of that flavor. It was so yummy! If you’re in Traverse City, this is a must! You won’t be sorry! 🍦❤️

We were vacationing in Glen Arbor for the week and found this place when googling best ice cream places near Glen Arbor. It was so delicious we went twice, we would have gone more but we found it with 3 days left in our trip.

I live 3hrs away and drive to Traverse City just for your ice cream - got the “mint oreo meltdown” hands down best flavor EVER!

If your visiting the area, it’s worth the drive to get moomers! Ever year we make it a must stop before leaving town. Lines can be long, but they move quickly. Very friendly staff, and great atomsphere!

Definitely one of the highlights of Traverse city. Ice cream is good quality. You can tell a lot of love goes into making the flavors, doesn’t taste like a chained ice cream company. Friendly service. Ample places sit and eat whether it’s inside or outside. I like eating outside because you can see the dairy farm where they have the cows. Prices are reasonable. I recommend doing the flight so that you can taste more flavors.

I've had my share of ice cream so I pretty much know what to expect whenever I visit an ice cream shop. Upon pulling up there was a long line outside, not surprised it was a beautiful day. The line moved fairly quick however. Surprisingly I did notice the ice cream was in fact better than I expected. It was noticeably creamer. So yea, it was great ice cream and worth the wait in line. The place itself was nice and had tons of outdoor seating. Definitely would recommend to anyone that's a ice cream fan.

Lots of parking, lots of clean seating indoors and outside. The ice cream was good and the service was quick. The ice cream was really “icy” and had a crunch to it, we were expecting creamy. We heard that this place was voted best in the US, it was good but not great. They were out of soft serve on the night we tried it so maybe that has something to do with it.

Some of the best ice cream I've had. Lines are long but move fairly quick. Pro Tip you can but half gallon Moomers ice cream at local grocery stores or across the street at the local store if the Linea are too long. We love their ice cream and recommend just getting the ice cream because some of the toppers take over the great flavor of the ice cream.

Even on a cold rainy day, Moomers is a great idea. Their ice creams are super creamy and they have a ton of very Michigan offerings, including cherries Moo-bilee. The family that runs the shop are super nice and helpful as well!

Fabulous ice cream. We had 🍒 cherry chocolate moobiblee (scrumptious) and chocolate fudge. You just have to try Moomers ice cream. Regular size is 2 scoops. Yep. So ... my tip if there are two of you; adter you get your cups of ice cream, trade one scoop and you'll be happy 😊 because now you're enjoying two flavors together. Especially support this family Ice Cream business in the community. You can purchase pint, quarts eyc of their ice cream. Seating inside and outside too. Great family story on how they started this business about 25+ years ago. We met a family member here who shared the vision that turned into Ice Cream. You'll find Moomers ice cream at other locations. I had Moomers in Leland yesterday.

We used Moomers catering for our wedding and it was a HIT! Our guests LOVED the ice cream. We rented an ice cream cooler that fit four large tubs of ice cream (~200 guests) and hired someone to scoop for us. They also provided bowls and cones for us. It was seamless and delicious!

Stopped in as we were passing through town. Fantastic ice cream, and would have been five stars except for the two young ladies, who were working behind the counter that clearly had no desire to be there. Zero customer interaction, zero smiles. More about what do you want here you go type of attitude. Huge juxtaposition between them and the lady running the register who was exceedingly pleasant. It’s a shame when you can’t at least be pleasant to somebody when you’re in the service industry. While this may not be your career choice, it is the job that you chose, and the way you treat customers has an impact on those that choose to visit the establishment, which obviously impacts the people who invested life savings to open up the shops. Won’t stop us from visiting again as maybe they were just having a bad day just my two cents, but a smile goes along way.

I’m glad we stopped by. They offer a wide range of flavors, and they call themselves the best ice cream in America (which I personally think it’s true). The ice cream is made with natural ingredients and has a very smooth and creamy texture. The staff is friendly and provides great service. The atmosphere is charming, making it a must-visit spot for ice cream lovers. They have sooo many flavors to choose, but I went with my all time favorite: chocolate and it WAS really amazing. We also got ourselves chocolate milk 🥛 🍫 I don’t think I’ll ever return to Traverse City, but if do I need to stop by again!

Tasty home made ice cream with a large variety of flavours and an incredible outdoor patio with a view of the dairy farm and cows that produce the cream for the dessert. A must try with the family when visiting traverse city.
