Loved grabbing lunch here. Their tomato soup is fresh and light with a lot of flavor and the squash was absolutely to die for. It’s nice to eat at a place that offers a wide variety of vegetables and flavors on their menu. They also offered mock tails and they were delicious. The entire staff was ki
We stopped in for a quick drink and a small bite to eat. The cocktails are really good and they have a lot of fun choices. We tried the Sgt. Peppercorn and the Stargazer. Both were unique and tasted great. We also each got a cup of the tomato spinach Swiss soup, which was excellent. I would real
We stopped in for dinner one evening while visiting TC and shopping the Main Street. We were on a wait list for about 45 minutes as we walked in for dinner on a Saturday with no reservation. The place was slammed, so the overall service was a little slow but pleasant. Their cocktail list was fun and
Excellent place to eat. Drinks were good too. The summer sprite was a twist on an Aperol sprite. The short ribs were so darn good. Loved the shrimp and grits too. Our kids really liked their burgers. Staff was great.
My friends and I loved the food, service and ambiance!! We had the acorn squash pot pie (yum-O!), whitefish po boy (delish!), and grilled cheese with tomato soup (amazing!) and you have to try the pita chips appetizer! Recommend reservations for dinner. We’ll be back for sure!
We had a stellar experience for a late dinner on Father's day! We started with the Whitefish cakes which were excellent, especially the diced green Chile sauce. Two of us had the short rib for dinner, and it was outstanding. We followed that up with a cheesecake for dessert. The place was packed, bu
The food here is amazing. Nothing but flavor. The pork ribeye was so juicy, the lamb ragu was so fresh and light for a pasta dish, and the brussel sprout appetizer was to die for. Strongly recommend!
I liked the food a lot! The place itself was nice but they didn’t have a ton of options. They do have vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options though which is great! Drinks were alright. Overall good! I got a salad and burger. Prices were fair for the area too.
Honestly the best appetizer we've ever had. If you don't like brussel sprouts I guarantee you will enjoy these. Omg this blew our minds. I'd come back to Traverse City just for this. Also we both had salads and they were amazing too. We were impressed in every way at Poppycocks
We are wrapping up our dinner at Poppycocks, and everything has been amazing! We had the aranchini as an appetizer , the shrimp and watermelon salad, seafood stew, and gnocchi. Everything has been very inventive and fresh. The service is also stellar! Great meal and place
First time here and I will be back. Gavin was my server/bartender and did an amazing job. Told me about the area and chatted with me a bit while I enjoyed my glass of wine. He is an asset to this great restaurant. I ordered the tomato spinach Swiss soup and it was perfect temperature and very fre
We went here for a nice dinner out and had a wonderful time. Our food was outstanding and the wait staff really took care of us. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed. We'll be back.
Great atmosphere in an older downtown "diner" style establishment. The food is excellent! A lot of tasty choices and each one we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. Our salads and whitefish cakes were really, really good. Nice list of beers and cocktails as well. Highly recommend if y
First time visiting Poppycocks - had a great experience! My husband and i both ordered a burger, which was cooked to a perfect medium! I also had a cup of the roasted mushroom bisque which was incredible - very bold and flavorful! ended the evening with a delicious curried carrot cake! the waitstaff
Yes I love this restaurant’s care for the food they offer. Flavors are amazing and staff so friendly. We loved everything. If you love simple yet sophisticated food— this place is for you! They have plenty of vegan options. So good!
Although overly crowded, the food was fantastic. I couldn't even get a picture taken before the sandwiches were half eaten! Toasted turkey, bacon & brie on sour dough, yum. Whitefish Po' Boy - double yum. Great fries. And the appetizer of homemade pita with bubbling Jarlsberg cheese and hummus - peo
