Oh my gosh! Love this place (both locations rock). Awesome coffee and specialty drinks, great staff, and baked goods are on point. The lemon cream scone is to die for!!!
My husband and I stopped at Cuppa Joe's in the Commons in September 2016 for brunch and to view the unique shops. What a wonderful experience we had. I had a delicious chicken salad that was so amazing that I about licked the bowl (kidding) and my husband had a scrumptious deli sandwich. The service was excellent only topped by the portions and fresh quality of food. We walked off the full feeling visiting the many interisting and very cool shops and boutiques that are located in the lower levels of what once was the hospital. We will make this a regular stop when we are in the Traverse City area. With the history, value and total overall coolness of this place, there is something for every budget and interest.

So friendly and funny. I like it when you can joke around with who you're ordering from. Prices are very reasonable! I had a coffee and one of their breakfast bowls, so incredibly satisfied. They also have a small bookshelf that you can take a book to read and bring it back if you so desire :) also you can purchase a punched card for the homeless, I think that's awesome

AMAZING!! Homemade bread and fresh wondefdul veggies on our BLTs, smoothies wete made with fresh berries. Seriously can not say enough positive about our meal here. Teens were very happy, iced coffee for 1 and a smoothie for the other, we all got BLtS. The employees were so sweet and friendly. We sat on the patio, westher was gorgeous and the scenery lovely 😍

Ok, I already raves to the staff directly but they need a standing ovation here!!! I have stopped before and already enjoyed their great coffee. This week I stopped in hoping to also grab some brunch with a friend. We had tried several places recommended to us who were all booked up due to need for a "Covid reservation". When we got to Cuppa Joe, the employees were kind, happy to see us and more than happy to help however they could. Their entire demeanor made our day as many of our Traverse City stops were less than enthusiastic for opening "tourist" season, but Cuppa Joe was the complete opposite.
Our food was AMAZING. Do not underestimate what they have to offer because they are a "small business". My friend got their BLT, I got the open faced Egg Salad Sandwich. We went half on each to give them both a try. The BLT was made with Sun dried tomatoes and I can't believe I have never done this myself! So so so good. The egg salad not only floored us on flavor but we could not believe how such a basic sandwich had been SO elevated in flavor! We agreed it was our favorite!
Thank you so much to the Staff who worked there on 5/2/21! Food was perfect, you were all so pleasant, and we are thankful you even carried food out to our table! If you all just keep being wonderful this business is going to Flourish SO fast!

Super cute little breakfast place located in the Commons (an old mental institute). Barista was great, food was good. If you’re looking for a quick little breakfast place come here. :)

Just wanted to say I stopped at Cuppa Joe West on my way home today... and WOW!
First of all, nailed the cappuccino. I had the 8 oz. perfect temp & rich espresso flavor w/milk.
Second, thank you for being open before 8 and on Monday.
Third, the pastries all looked amazing, though I chose
breakfast, and again... you knocked it out of the park! The pastry was perfect and the fillings... substantial.
Fourth? Sweet staff.
Great job. I will be stopping again.

Popped in for a quick coffee for a break while browsing the shops. We had a lovely coffee and a tasty lemon tea and shared a blueberry scone which was absolutely delicious!
This place is great. The BLTs are fantastic and have exactly the right amount of tomatoes. I've never seen a BLT with such a perfect count of roasted tomatoes before. Matt is always friendly and plays good music.
Best mocha I've had on a while. Smooth and not overly bitter. My husband got the Earl Grey crene. Which I tried and it was also really good.
