Terrific bookstore! A visit to Traverse City would not be complete without a stop here!
What a treat to find such a superb book store while ambling about popular East Front Street in downtown Traverse City, Michigan. An excellent selection as well as a copious selection of titles of local interest. Plus, a cute cafe! Always nice to give business to a coffee shop that isn’t a Starbucks!
Great book store! They have an amazing kids/young readers section, and some more uncommon titles in general, which is quite fun. Nice atmosphere with classical music in the background.

Horizon books has been around for a long time and hopefully they will continue to be around for a long time so that everyone can have a chance to visit and pick out a book 📖 they have a section for everyone, books and lots of other things!!! Horizon books has so much to offer I definitely recommend
The Horizon Books store is one of those places you wish you would have found earlier. Huge selection of titles. Massive amounts of magazines. Great food. Excellent coffee, fresh and lots of flavor. Lots of seating. You can sit in the cafe, downstairs, or outside. If you like people watching, outside
Great selection of books. The coffee shop inside is cozy and the nice person who made my chai tea latte knocked it out of the park!
The staff was great, the coffee was pretty good too. They had lots of books, and they were even newer books. I well definitely return the next time I am in town.
This was a fun book store.i could some really interesting sections and books that I was looking for. They also have some really cool kinda of notebooks, like for passwords and websites or for books you read. I loved the selections since it was vastly different from Illinois. I plan on vacationing he

We always stop by here. It’s a lovely little bookstore where you can sit and get a tea or coffee with some sweets and read or just browse around. A piano in the back is kinda fun. The staff are always very helpful and friendly.
I first visited Horizon Books ten years ago and it’s remained one of my favorite Traverse City stops ever since. It boasts a wide variety of titles - I find a new author to enjoy each time I visit.
