I love the staff there! The food is always good, the buffet is the best around. I also enjoy the occasional take out from there also. They are adding more and more exciting drinks to their bar menu! I say bring your friends and family and enjoy some wonderfully tasty food!
As always had an A+ experience, with the best buffet available and of course an excellent, fast take out order experience. All workers are professional and nice.

I have been eating here since I was a child, and it never disappoints. The food is always fantastic, and very consistent. The owners and staff are very welcoming.

This places egg rolls are the best I've ever had. Always on point. Every single time. The front desk lady is always pleasant and professional. Do not to anywhere else in town for chinese. Don't buy frozen. GO HERE. Eat. Enjoy.~~~ Egg roll is not pictured because I ate in in 30 seconds.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant around Traverse City. In the top 5 of favorite Chinese Restaurant Anywhere. Extremely good food. Very reasonable price. Calm and peaceful atmosphere. Not overcrowded......a classy place

Subgum Warr barr is great as is the Mongolian beef. The egg rolls aren't the greatest but swap out with hot & sour soup and you'll be happy 😊
Best and most authentic Chinese in town, no question. The owner is a super cool guy and the service is excellent. My mom and I eat here every time she comes into town.
Decent authentic Chinese food but a bit overly salted. The Szechuan string beans and twice cooked pork were quite good. The yang chow fried rice and Szechuan chicken were decent as well.
The buffet was extensive and high quality. The service was very good. The only reason I have it a 4 instead of a 5 was because most dishes could have been warmer. We'll definitely be going back!
Me and my family have been coming here for years, we've tried all of the Asian style buffets in town and have decided that China Fair is the best one.
It's changed hands a couple of times if I remember correctly, but even now the food is still pretty good.
Even though I only gave the food 3 stars it's mainly because not everything on their buffet is to my liking, but there are certain dishes that are pretty damn fantastic.
Overall a positive experience. Our waitress was kind, patient and attentive. Food was traditional buffet faire, which overall we enjoyed. Docking them a star because food seemed a bit old and ice cream machine broken.

Ah, one of my favorite Chinese Buffet places to eat. Before the new fancy one came about, on a superficial level, this was the go-to place for Chinese Buffets! However, just because some "cool" looking "fancy" place is in town doesn't mean I am going to hop on to that.
Anyway, on topic: This place has a good selection of a moderate amount of food. Always tastes great though. The owner of the place is often walking around talking to people and is a friendly fella. Talk about really getting personalized with your customers. It's like a ma and pah Chinese Buffet in that regard.
I’ve known about this place since I was young always my mom and I’s spot to go for family daughter time, but when I go alone and do take out the foods just not the same. But it’s good food not great but good.

In an update to my previous experience, I found that the buffet was not well filled. The food was not hot. I was very disappointed at my visit this time. There were 6 of my family members and due to past experiences we decided to eat here. I will definitely think twice prior to choosing this restaurant.
This place used to be great but they raised the prices while lowering quality. Food at the buffet looked old and crusty. The green beans tasted like bleach. The server was kind so I gave a two star rather than 1. I sure hope this place goes back to the old ways.
*Update - the food is best when ordered from the menu. I'm increasing the stars from 2 to 4 because I ordered the green beans medium spicy with rice and a vegetable roll and it was really good.
