Oh. My. GOD. Where do I begin? The beer-can pulled chicken was out of this world, the pulled pork cheese fries were heaven in my mouth, and the smoked lobster blew my mind(never had it like that before). Brisket? A-MAZING. Ribs where super yummy. But, the dark horse of them all had to be the coleslaw. YES, I said coleslaw. Pineapples folks. They put pineapples in their coleslaw, and I feel like I’ve been eating coleslaw the wrong way for years. And I will never not have pineapples in my coleslaw again. We had come up from New York City for Memorial Day weekend, and that was some of the best bbq/seafood my wife and I have ever had. Our server’s name was Nicole and she was so nice, and so sweet to us, her sweetness nearly rivaled their blueberry pie they serve for dessert there. We took two slices with us for the road. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks again Smokey’s! I almost forgot the beans! They. Are. Slamming.

My daughter & I made a 580 mile round trip from NH to Acaidia yesterday, Sunday, 7/15. We stopped at Smokey's around 8PM, after leaving Acaidia, to fuel up for our 4 hour drive home. We are both rib & lobster junkies, lol. We ordered smoked lobster, shrimp & a rack of ribs to go. Once we finished our meals, we went inside to get our rack of ribs & apparently there was only a half rack left. We were refunded $10 & left with the 1/2 rack. I ate those ribs today for lunch. 15 hours old & warmed in the microwave, those were, hands down, the best ribs I've ever eaten in my life!! Do not take this compliment lightly, I am an unofficial rib conosouir, and am very critical of ribs. I've eaten ribs in nearly every state in the US, and at least 10 or more countries, none come close to Smoky's!!! The smoked lobster and native shrimp were also amazing, as were the beans & potato salad. Staff were crazy busy, but very polite, helpful & smiling. Music was also great! Keep doing what your doing, this is your calling. I will never visit that area of Maine again, without stopping at Smokey's for ribs!!!! Oh if only they'd had a full rack :(..... next time Rock on with those bad ass, exceptional ribs!!!! We will be back!!!

Lobster and BBQ united... loved it! We had an assortment of just about everything on the menu amongst our group. No complaints here. Everything was delicious. The blueberry pie with ice cream topped off the whole meal nicely. Maine blueberries have such a great flavor!

Simply amazing! We stopped by because my wife wanted more lobster, but my son and I wanted some BBQ. The ribs were better than St. Louis and my brisket was to die for. My wife got the smoked lobster meal and was facing about it. This is a must stop!

Don't let the sketchy look of this place put you off. The food is delicious, with generous portions and fair prices. We had a lobster roll and a burger, both of which were cooked to perfection. The smell coming from the smoker is divine!

Smokey's is the perfect spot to whittle away an afternoon! Stellar food, who could have anticipated the subtle yet sultry sweetness a bit of pineapple added to coleslaw would provide!? And the wait staff! AAA! (accommodating, attractive, attentive), inspiringly clean restrooms, fine cold ales and lawn games galore. 10/10 will go again.

An absolute gem of a find, we stumbled across this spot whilst traveling through Maine. My friend had the lobster which looked and smelt amazing. I had the veggie burger which you could tell was made fresh and one of the best veggie burgers I've had. Not to mention the staff was lovely even shared some extras with us on the house! Truly worth a visit if you are in this part of the state!

Hands down the best lobster dinner we’ve had in Maine in our short time here. And we got to make a mess, wear the bibs and it was so good. We chose the grilled and smoked Twin Lobsters - you can’t go wrong!! Kids tore up their pulled pork Sammy’s and really a great meal.

Came here for lunch. The staff said it was the last day before they closed down the restaurant for the winter. The guy helping us was incredibly nice! The food was good, but the maine roll was made differently than I've had prior. No onion/scallions or mayo, but still delicious! When we went in October, lobsters rolls were about 30$ a roll, so they can get pricy quickly! Make sure that you are prepared for that. Overall, I had a good lunch here, and they brought out food really quickly!

So glad to find you coming out of crowded Bar Harbor. We got the Lobster Rolls. Husband said his had a not clean taste at the beginning but then it was fine . I liked the shoestring fries . Loved the cornhole there to play while you wait . Thanks !

Turns out we were the very last customers at Smokey's BBQ. For the season and forever. Sad! The staff was great, the food was excellent, and we did our part to clean out everything before they closed for good. Thanks for giving a couple of Texans and Utahans an unforgettable lobster pound experience.

Can we give Smokey's a rating of 100? Everything was outstanding, especially the food. HUGE servings and delicious! I had the pulled pork Mac & cheese. Hubby had BBQ platter. Thank you, and we'll be back. Yum!

The best combo of surf-n-turf! We got a half rack of fall-of-the-bone ribs, corn and lobster rolls. Thanks for offering a hot buttered roll, even if it is sacrilegious 🤣 We stuffed ourselves and left happy.

Had a very nice meal here yesterday. Fries were great . Brisket was delicious ribs were very tasty . Got a full ear of corn not a sawed off piece of frozen corn on cob . Watched the line of cars going to bar harbor and a few planes take off. Highly recommend. Only complaint is the puny fork provided made it difficult to shovel down massive amounts of meats .

Fun little shack. Saw the smoker and had to stop. Brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. They had lobster too. From Florida we were missing some smoked meat! It was really good. BBQ sauce is a bit sweet and thick for my taste. The food didn't really need it though. Great service!

We love our experience here! We were driving from Acadia and spotted this on the road so we just stopped by. We ordered 2 lobsters and they were delicious. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. The place has a cute set up outside with umbrellas so it was a nice brunch experience. The dishes are fairly priced. Definitely will come back again.

Tried their veggie burgers. Best and big burger with sides of fries or corns. Their lobster roll are good too. Very busy but quick service.

Visiting from Ohio, the gentleman who served us was very muscular and had the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen. The Maine style lobster roll was served cold, which while unexpected, was very flavorful. The lettuce and mayonnaise were peculiar additions that gives you an entirely new experience in crustacean delicacy. The buttered bread was soft and delicious-providing crunch where expected. The baked beans were smoky and delicious with a slice of delicious sausage sneaking it’s way into the side dish.

Local BBQ and seafood. Outdoor pots cooking next to the smoker. You could smell the delicious food driving by. Lawn games while you wait. Indoor and outdoor seating.

I think i walked in right when they were close to closing, but i just thought it looked cool. So my bad for showing up at that time. However the food was AWESOME!! The pulled pork sandwhich had a sweet Brioche Bun that tasted so fresh and the pork was so good! The corn on the cob was big and steamy!! The server was very nice and honest which is great.

Great food! Taste was on point! Juicy as hell and the perfect amount of fat was left on the meat. Sausage casing was a bit too thick, but otherwise tasted good. Fries were so good my girlfriend ate all of hers and half of mine!

I had joked with my boyfriend about wanting to find good barbecue in Maine, because well, it's lobster country. When we saw Smokey's BBQ & Lobster Pound on the way to Acadia for the day, I thought two things: 1) what is a lobster pound? And 2) obviously we have to try the barbecue. After a long day ar Acadia, we stopped in to check it out. We split the lobster and barbecue (got ribs on staff recommendation) dinner and added on a side. Wow! Our meal came out with a wonderful presentation. We wasted no time getting into it. After enjoying the claws, we went in for ribs, which easily came from the bones but were not falling off. Perhaps they could have had a little bit more smoke to the flavor, but they were delicious nonetheless. We got potato salad and baked beans for our side, along with corn. Salad and beans were phenomenal. For all parts of this meal, is was very clear that everything had been made fresh for that day. Food aside, dining areas inside and out were clean. We did not wait long for our food to come and the staff were friendly and kind. I'm glad I saw this place and would recommend it to others.

Very good brisket and lobster! The bbq is top quality! We are from Texas and know good bbq when we taste it🫶🏼. Fresh, delicious lobster roll (not the biggest for the ~30$) very good and buttery. 🍍🍍🍍Coleslaw has pineapple in it!! YUM! Potato salad is also the perfect amount of creamy and tangy. Great outdoor picnic area to sit. There’s a corn hole game to play and really cute murals on the fence.

We passed Smokey’s on our way to our cottage and decided to stop here for our first Maine dinner. Absolutely LOVED everything about this place. The vibe was super relaxed, the staff was awesome and we enjoyed hanging out while waiting for our lobster and brisket. The food was perfect- the lobster of course was great, and the brisket was so rich a juicy, I was definitely happy I got it. Didn’t link the sides so much (beans and coleslaw) but the corn was delicious and everything else was so nice and fun I can’t be mad about two little sides. Would recommend this to anyone driving into Acadia.
