My husband and I both absolutely loved our stay. Amazing ocean views close by, forest garden, trails and pond. Spacious, rustic duplex cabins with hot and cold water. We'll be back soon.
Didn't stay, I was just dropping some food off to a friend but the trailer seemed nice, 2 beds,bath,kitchen ect...would be great for a small get together so nooone would have to drive after drinking
This place could be great, but it's closer to good. We stayed in the mobile home since there was 5 of us, it's pretty old. The grounds are beautiful and nicely kept and the mobile home was clean except it needs all hardwood floors throughout since carpet is very stained due to being on the coast.
Old and dated but the trees are beautiful.
If you want luxury stay at a $200.00 a night place. The bar is a nice feature.
The town is wonderful and you can walk to the ocean from here. This place was fine for a shower and decent bed. $75.00

Knew the owner, good guy and great location.
The bartender was friendly and funny. The rooms are dated and worn, but clean. I'm a big girl (2×) and the bathroom was a medium at best. Big kitchen was a surprise. My family will definitely be back again!
Rustic, organic, heady..... amazing memories as a former patron of the Grove. The bar was legendary and the people amazing, hope to bring the family back some day as it has been more than 10 years since I last stopped by.
You know, these people saying the rooms are dirty and blah blah are being snobby and unfair. This place is a cute little gem and for $75 you get to stay in a little cabin with a porch in the woods on the coast. Room was clean enough to not scare me away. Don't expect much more than the bare essentials. Came up from Garberville for New years and had some four fingered tweaker try to arm wrestle me at the bar, it's a real freak show and the drinks aren't cheap enough to justify a return visit. Room had a full kitchen and was reasonably comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small but served the purpose. It obviously needs updating, but for the price and amenities, plus a friendly, helpful, understanding staff it's well worth it.
The room was comfortable, the staff was very friendly & Helpful. I was there alone; and they all new me by my name; with kindness and courtesy. I will be returning, soon. Very helpful; with directions and excellent advice. The food in the restaurant, was magnificent; and I even bought more carnitas,
Can't ask for a more beautiful place to relax. Lodge is minutes from the beach, as well as the casino. Staff helpful while giving the feeling that your all alone in paradise. Price very reasonable.
I just saw it from the outside. They had no vacancy. The buildings looked old but maintained. There is a little restaurant and bar on the property. It's close to everything in Trinidad. It's surround by big beautiful trees. Wish I could have stayed there.
