Review Taco Bell - Troutman

The people are nice, the restaurant is clean but the actual food could use some work. My Crunchwrap was more like a Crispwrap because of how charred it was from the grill, much like a chewy shrimp it was simply cooked too long. The potatoes in my soft taco were on the other end of the spectrum, the inside of the potato was colder than the sour cream on it! I would have taken a picture but really, it’s hard to show cold potatoes in a photo.

When we first moved to the area, we had about 4 or 5 great experiences. Seems like it was a different crew or manager. Since then, I always get my food order wrong and I pay extra to swap to chicken everytime! I have a medical issue and cannot eat any of the other meat! It annoys me so much to pay extra for it and not receive it. Half the time, I bring it home and then find out; by then, I don't want to drive back to get it fixed! This time we ate inside. No one checked the counter to see if people needed help or anything. When we arrived a guy was waiting with something wrong, sounded like he waited a good bit and finally screamed out at them to get it fixed. One guy waited forever just to be told to order it on the app and then waited a good long time for his order. This guy also mentioned he had a bad experience at the Bojangles across the street which is why he came over here. The drive thru guy was the one who mentioned he saw him waiting a while and asked if anyone asked him what he was waiting on. They finally got it to him. Even with us waiting on them to make my order (app mobile order), my phone sent me a message before they even walked to the counter. Then I asked about it and was told they weren't the one who really made it, they didn't ask that one, just told me to bring it back up and they could fix it. When I did that.... I waited forever for someone to even notice my food was wrong and then only corrected 2 of the 3. I didn't even care... I was so annoyed! Just wasting money and time! I order everything on the app & pick up in store or drive thru. I always do it through the app just to make sure I get exactly what I want and it is easy for them to read. If they can't get it right, it seems useless. And I am very disappointed! I won't be going back for a while!

I'm not sure who was working tonight (01/25/2022) but they were on point! The food was great and quite frankly it's the best that I've had from this location since moving to Troutman in 2018. Kudos to the Night Shift!! Very nicely done.

Manager and line staff were gossiping and basically just hanging out while everybody waited 20 mins for their food

Crunchy Tacos. 3 with drink. Awful. Absolutely, maybe, 1/2 tsp meat on taco. Hardly an lettuce. No cheese and a smidge of sour cream. Would have taken back but it was a pickup order and already home.

The employees here are always kind and deliver your food in a timely fashion.

Good food. Nice employees. Decent service. Clean. Prices have gone up as with all places since the pandemic. Easy access.

Amazed at how super friendly everyone was! The world needs more positive friendly interactions. Thank you!
