Really liked the ambiance here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was good too. The place was packed on a weekend so if you guys are in big numbers, would be best to reserve your table.
The atmosphere in this place was amazing, the coffee bar was a great touch (I got an espresso while waiting for our table), margaritas were delicious, and our waiter and host was super knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful. The food was OK; Guacamole and Queso were delicious, however the tacos were a bit dry in my opinion.
This is one of the rare gems that provides an atmosphere reminiscent of vacation + quality food/drinks & service! Shout out to Michelle for very attentive service đź‘Ź There's plenty of space with patios & open air seating during the summer, in addition to the cozy booths or relaxed couch & fireplace areas. The higher quality tequilas, desserts & in-house barista are reasons to over-indulge, otherwise you wouldn't need to spend more than $30/person on a filling meal and cĂłctel to drink. I will be back to try everything on the menu, BET!
Yesterday I had my bridal shower at Gran Castor! I already loved this restaurant, but now this place will forever have a special place in my heart! The space is already decorated in a boho southwestern vibe so we really did not need to add much. We chose to do a taco bar and it tasted amazing! We had two cakes made, one for me and one for my sister for her birthday. We were just expecting a simple design, but they went above and beyond to create two beautiful masterpieces! My cake was vegan and it was the best vegan cake I’ve had. And my guests were also very impressed. The crew working was efficient and so kind to my guests. They allowed us to a play a Spotify playlist on the speakers which was great.
I couldn’t recommend this place enough! I received so many compliments on the food, drinks, and how beautiful the place was. Thank you for making my bridal shower dreams come true!
I tried the taco party and it was okay. I definitely liked the double shell taco but the toppings overwhelmed the meat. Guac was mediocre. Chicken was the best, the rest of the meat I tried was okay. My friend got a chicken burrito which was huuuuge. Will be back again.
Excellent food and beautiful decor makes this place an excellent choice for food with friends or a date. Highly recommend. This was our first time and will not be our last.
Great service, delicious food and decent prices. Union Eateries are great, we love Honcho so we tried Gran Castor and were NOT disappointed! The queso, enchiladas and hot chicken taco were all amazing.
