Excellent Gelato, sampled several flavors before settling on the Alpencaramel and Biaggi Peanut/Hazelnut. Reasonable prices and very friendly staff! Lots of seating outdoors, only 2 tables inside.
This place is awesome!!! The Gelato is delicious, better than icecream. Very creamy and soft and cold. I loved it. Also less sugar and calories than icecream. The staff let us sample 4 flavors and were very kind to us. I am super impressed with the beautiful presentation as well. The dark chocolate was rich and creamy and had a nice bitterness to it. The Lemon was crisp and tangy and just fantastic. Definitely returning here. Indoor and outdoor seating avaliable, and it is next door to Wholefoods.
My party was there around 930pm on a Friday night (they close at 11pm) we were a large party but everyone arrived separately and moved quickly through the line. The Gelato was great. I had two flavors mint and chocolate hazelnut hard to mess those up. But everyone said theirs were also good.
The girls behind the counter were willing to let us try a bunch of flavors, and answer questions for me as a first timer. However I paid with cash and when the girl gave me my change she basically threw it at my hand. I normally would have brushed this off as just a bad night or misunderstanding, like she was distracted or in a hurry, but I was the last one ordering no one was waiting. Before she saw I was paying with cash she was all cheery, sweet and helpful and her demeanor completely changed when I pulled out my money. She looked disgusted to have to count out $0.21 in change. Threw it my hand and said "Here."
I was really turned off by this.
The seating was outside so on a November day in Tuscon no problem, but I wouldn't want to go in July and sit there it'd be a to-go only for me in the summer. There were 2 tables inside that only sat 2 people each.
The white and blue futuristic theme wasn't inviting but gave the illusion of cold so I get it.
We had the S’more fun in AZ, which came with locally-made chocolate soft serve blended with teddy grahams, cocoa puffs, and marshmallow (pictured below mostly eaten because it was delicious!). Highly recommend this sweet local business!
The small cup is just the right amount. Gelato is pretty rich, so it doesn’t take much. We had great service and tasted a bunch. There were almost too many flavors to choose from, so I naturally ended up with the first one I saw, salted caramel.
Great dessert spot! We bopped in for some afternoon gelato and had a great time. The variety of flavors is amazing!
Florida man traveling stop by to support the small business this place is a must stop if you're ever in Tucson Arizona you won't be disappointed the employee are phenomenal definitely deserves a ( 5 star ) they also make you try before you buy so you can make up your mind from the 20 different flavor gealto..
My dad came to Tucson from PA and wanted some gelato. We found Frost Gelato and it didn’t disappoint. The espresso chip gelato was extremely good. I definitely will be coming back.
The gelato was absolutely delicious. I was happy to be able to sample a few flavors before deciding which one to get. I went with one scoop of pistachio and one scoop of tiramisu but I don’t think you could’ve gone wrong with any flavor! They even brought out a little pup cup for my dog, Honey, which she loved. The outdoor seating was spacious and perfect with half in the shade and half in the sun. Thank you so much!
Tasty and delicious! I had the no sugar added peanut butter and the salted chocolate truffle. Both were delicious and paired well together. I also sampled the banana and the mango. They were both tasty as well. The staff was friendly and even offered us complimentary water on this hot day! The color changing straw was cool.
Yum. Yum. Yum.
Frost is my favorite gelato place in all of the west coast, and we've tried a lot. They are always so nice about the 300 samples I really want (j/k, that would be so rude. I keep it under 5.) and service is great.
Glad I don't live within 2 hours or we'd be here daily.
What’s better than gelato for dessert after a pizza lunch? The gelato according to them is half the calories and 80% less fat than regular ice cream! Yes! A light dessert is what we all need for a guilt free indulgence. I really don’t want to grow a belly you know what I mean? The hazelnut is my ultimate favorite as it taste almost like a lighter version of Nutella. The pistachio is also good. Try them! The prices are not cheap at $3.98 for small, $4.90 for medium and $5.19 for large and add $.75 for waffle cone. I usually order the waffle cone as it just taste better with the cone but I didn’t today.
I felt so rushed by the employees, even after we expressed that we needed a little of time to look at the flavors. They weren’t busy. But overall all, it was decently clean, the gelato was delicious! 4/5
Great pit stop for desert. Has many flavors and great service.
What more could you ask for.
Gelato, milk, and a chill Friday night.
MacKenzie and Autumn were professional and upbeat.
Seriously great stop for quick desert.
Best I’ve had anywhere. I can see why it is so popular. The only feedback I have is that they were out of several flavors the day I went. Otherwise all was great!
Frost is the best Gelato spot in Arizona! We have moved farther away but made sure to include a stop there when back in Tucson! You cannot beat the selection or service.
Yum! Not only is Frost adorable, but there's almost endless gelato and sorbetto to choose from! Strawberry Kiwi for me. It was light, fruity, and refreshing.
Frost is Not the usual overly sugary sorbetto; they really strike a good balance here, with the natural sweetness and flavor of the fruit: Highly recommend!
The staff made good recommendations and strike up conversations with regulars, always a plus. :)
They have the absolute best flavored gelato ever. The best flavors in my opinion are Passion Fruit, Raspberry and Chocolate.
