Having visited the TV Ranch over the years, for celebrations, weddings and such, finally taking time to stay there presented the best perspective of the facilities and how amazing it truly is! Wow. I recommend room #22, as it offered an amazing view of the mountains, and sunset. It was a cozy, comfortable stay. I will be back to visit again, I am certain.
Awesome place! We were here 20+ years ago and had fun. Brought the kids this time and had another great time. The whole staff is awesome, from the front desk, to the kids staff, to the dining hall staff. Awesome rides and want to give great reviews to all the wranglers who worked with us including Tara, Hope, Branson, Skye, Tamra, Nicholle and Courtney. You were all awesome, thank you!
My first experience of a riding holiday. This place is amazing. The views and riding are beautiful, the staff are all lovely and super welcoming and I don't even know where to start on the food! (It's yummy). If your contemplating booking, all I can say is DO IT. You won't regret it :)
What a wonderful experience - I came to the ranch for a photography workshop. The grounds, the food, the animals, the accommodations, everything was delightful! I strongly recommend the ranch if you are looking for a wonderful (family friendly) vacation.

Stayed 3 nights! The people were SO friendly, the room was nice and clean, and the prickly pear margarita is to die for!!! Went in a walking ride, very relaxing! The walking trails were great too (watch for snakes). Will definitely visit again!!
What a truly amazing place .lovely people, beautiful horses & simply stunning rides .. especially impressed with the number of dairy free options at meal times .. accommodation fitting with surroundings and such comfy beds .. from reception to rides to meals to the bar to the pool to the cowboy cookout we loved it

I was amazed.Grounds and cabinbautifuland immaculate. Food was gourmet. I felt confident on the horses with the trail leaders. The horses were gentle and well trained. The breakfast ride was spectacular

You don't have to love horses to love this place- there is plenty to do from hiking to biking to tennis or day spa.
My sister in law booked us a night stay for our honeymoon at the ranch. She also did the breakfast horseback ride. Me and my husband had an amazing experience while there. Staff was amazing! Everything was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone! Also perfect for a staycation. We're planning on eventually doing a couple day stay with our girls. We loved it so much!

I live in Ohio and my parents live in Tucson. They were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary at the restaurant at Tanque Verde. I called and the staff was beyond accommodating to make sure my parents were surprised with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries! I had no idea what time they would arrive. The staff handled it and made their evening special! Thank you to all who helped make this a great celebration!

This is the most fantastic place, made even more special because we are here on honeymoon. Excellent staff, food, . Perfection.
Loved our short trip here. TVR is great if you have kids 4 or older but a little limited for younger kiddos. The rooms are beautiful and rustic. The food was incredible. The service is high quality. They treat all their animals, from horses to turkeys to stray kitties, so well which speaks volumes. We’ll be back!
This is the most incredible place! The nature and views are breathtaking, the service of the staff is 15/10. They should get an award for how courteous every person on their staff is, from the shuttle driver to the cleaners. And the rooms are amazing.
We took a sunset horse side up to the mountain and back down and it was one of the best experiences of my life. So much fun!

I didn’t stay in the any of the room unfortunately. I wish I did. We had our wedding on 11.12.2023 and it was absolutely AMAZING so organized. I told myself as a bride that if stuff happens it happens but i literally had nothing to worry about that day. Megan made everything so calming. Thank you guys for making our day AMAZING!!!
First time stay - husband wanted to do something different for his birthday. Lots of activities, the food was great, and spending so much time outdoors we didn’t miss not having a TV in the room. Staff was helpful and friendly, especially Sam who answered my many questions when booking! Particularly enjoyed the riding and variety of trails. We’ll visit again!
Awesome place to spend time. Great service, soooo much to do. Would rate a 6 if I could. Only issue is that they only have lukewarm water, not hot! Also they lock the thermostats out at 68 degrees which sounds appropriate but where the thermostats are located is cooler than rest of the rooms which stay very warm. They should not do that when they are charging a premium price!! It makes them seem like a cheap motel. Management, you can do better. Save money somewhere that does not negatively affect guest comfort. You are in the experience business.
Tanque Verde Ranch is an incredible place to host a wedding! As a wedding photographer, it's such a joy to take couples to photograph around the property - there are alot beautiful areas to choose from and the desert backdrop is so dreamy. If you're looking for a dreamy desert getaway type wedding - THIS IS IT!
Lastly, the entire Tanque Verde Ranch team was incredible! My couple said they couldn't have DREAMED of a better place to have their wedding! 10/10 recommend!
This is a magical place to visit to take in the scenery, go for a horse back ride or enjoy the sunset at the cowboy cookout on nights it's open to the public (this is an all inclusive resort). I'm grateful to be a craft instructor teaching soap making at the resort for the past year.
One of the most beautiful places I have stayed!! Staff went out of their way to get us dinner when we arrived later than expected. Super friendly people, amazing property… beautiful rooms! They have 24 hour drinks laundry room, 24 hour pool, gift shop dining hall… everything you need…and About anything you want to do outside they have it! Trails, horse riding, fishing, wild life… it’s all there! The only downfall for us was there were no tv’s in the rooms and after 12 hours in a car together we were just ready to lay down and relax with some tv… BUT They do focus on quality time. Outdoor activities and just bringing people together which to be quite honest is rare these days! We only had a one night stay on our cross country trip but cannot wait to get back and stay longer!
Went to the Cowboy Cookout and it was lots of fun! Great food and atmosphere. And we were treated to about six javalinas!
Rooms are huge and clean. Front desk was always available. Speedway is one of my least favorite roads in Tucson.
Day trip on a misty day. Beautiful location. Had lunch. 3 very good. Quesadilla was disappointing. Short on cheese and dry.
I've only eaten there for special occasions. Always great!! It was expensive but worth it for holiday festivities.
My Husband and I went to Dinner with my Son, Daughter-in-law and Granddaughter on Saturday Evening 6/17/23. My Son and Daughter-in-law have stayed at the Hotel before as a Staycation and they said it was Awesome! We all live in Tucson and the Hotel looked Awesome! The Service was Great! We had a Great Night and will definitely be returning! They did have a Band setup which was very enjoyable we also had a visit from a Javelina, apparently there's Javelina's that come visit frequently that don't bother anyone but several people were able to take pictures from afar! The Show "Hey Dude" from Nickelodeon was also filmed there.
A visit to Tanque Verde Guest Ranch is always an amazing experience. We used it for a family reunion and we’re not disappointed. The grounds are well maintained, the rooms are well appointed and spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone wanting something different than the typical destination resort. Did I mention they have an excellent trail riding program? 😄

After 15 years, I went back to Tanque Verde with my sister and her husband for vacation. We love this place since there’s so much to do and just about everything is included. This is a great spot for people who like to stay active on vacation and don’t mind the lack of TVs.
During our visit we enjoyed multiple horse rides each day, in addition to tennis classes, axe throwing, archery, hiking, and time spent by the pool. Our favorite activities as teens and even now as adults have definitely been the breakfast ride, lope rides, and team penning. It is an investment, but worth it!
Special shout out to our outstanding wranglers, Mike, Dakota, and Aspen! We also loved our server, Omar! We appreciated the great service, humor, and attentiveness shown to us during our visit.
Side note - Don’t get frustrated if you don’t pass the lope check right off the bat. Safety is huge on the lope rides, so it’s nice to have wranglers who care and are willing to work with guests through the lessons to help them meet their horse riding goals. You pay a good bit to stay at the ranch, but at the end of the day you’re dealing with horses and it’s not just about you and what you want ;)

We enjoyed the ranch immensely. My wife and I were there for a long weekend staycation, the food was absolutely five-star. The staff was friendly and helpful with all of the activities. We did everything from of course horseback riding to hiking and laying around the pool not to mention ax throwing. With the long list of activities it definitely makes the all-inclusive package well worth the money.
My husband and I spent a week here and loved it!! Horses, food, pool, etc amazing!!! Going again for sure!!!
