The ambiance is beautiful with real wood tables, modern theme metallic siding and a cement floor with etched Peruvian symbols. I went for a date night and it exceeded my expectations. The pisco sour was tasty and fabulous due to the egg white. The sangria was also very good. We ordered an appetizer, ceviche dish and chicken dish. The server (Maggie) brought a beef dish instead of chicken, however she offered to leave it for us and brought the chicken dish. Maggie did not charge us for the beef dish. We enjoyed all of our food and thought it was incredibly flavorful.

I do not know that I have ever had true Peruvian food until coming here, but this place was awesome. The food, atmosphere and service were all great. Nothing to complain about here. There is a lot more to try on this menu, so I will be back for sure.

Just had a great lunch there! Did everything I could to clean my plate, short of licking it. Great food and service. Family run, locally owned.

Very nice restaurant! We just happened to be looking for another restaurant (which was closed) and we thought we'd try something new. We were so glad we did! The drinks were great, the service was wonderful, and the food? Heavenly! I had a ceviche and my wife had a burger, and everything was delicious! We can't wait to go back to Villa Perú 🇵🇪 😁

Sweet little hidden gem of Tucson!! Locally owned by a young family. Highly recommend getting reservations ahead of time - there's a very small waiting area that seats 2-3 people. It's a very beautiful and intimate restaurant, skinny and long, which gives a beautiful atmosphere especially at night. There is a jazz saxophone player (John Hughes Music) that plays on Friday and Saturday nights from 6-9pm. Great for a date night or girls night out! You MUST try the Pisco Sour cocktail - especially if you love a sweet and sour profile. There's only one area for a larger group seating, or outside on the small patio out front. Otherwise most seating is 2-4 people per table due to size constraints - so be sure to plan ahead! This is definitely one of my new favorites for sure! 10/10 highly recommend!!

I was surprisingly pleased with Ceviche; the ceviche was an excellent portion, and the flavor hit the spot, Aji de gallina, alfajores, and picarones out of this world, it make me feel like if I was at home Peru. Excellent, friendly, professional interaction.

I strongly recommend. Service and food were amazing. We especially enjoyed the ceviche and tuna which are perfect for a hot summer day. Reservations are encouraged for dinner. We will definitely be back.

The staff was kind and welcoming went I entered. They had great music and even a live performer which was a surprise but something I was hoping for with dinner. We were remembered and checked on even sitting outside. Soo many tasty options on the menu. I will definitely go back.

Service was excellent; food was presented with flare and tasted fresh and wonderful. I'm vegetarian, and there were Multiple!! Dishes to choose from. I did eat some shrimp and Tiger Milk ceviche, too. Yum! The decor is creative and classy. Overall, a 5 star experience. Thank you!

I love this restaurants menu that has a large variety to select from, seafood, chicken, beef, and several vegetarian options and the server asked what level of spice I wanted mild, medium or spicy on my dish when I ordered. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly and very professional. We had a party of 8 and everyone enjoyed the evening so much they intend to return again with friends who will be visiting them soon.

My wife and I eat at this family owned and operated establishment frequently and every experience has been nothing less than exceptional! A lot of restaurants put out a lot of food on tables but this place takes pride in every dish that goes out of the kitchen. The service matches their food as well. We have enjoyed the dishes that challenge our knowldege of the peruvian culture and we have our "go to" dishes that are always awesome. Great atmosphere and live music as well. Thank you Charles and Frida for such a great place to hang out!

Not a risk taker when it comes to food. So when a friend suggested a Peruvian restaurant, I was skeptical to say the least. So glad I went and tried this amazing place. First off, the space is small, however it is used well and decorated beautifully. Very comfortable atmosphere. The food is amazing. We tried so many different entrees and appetizers. My favorite was the steak and the rotisserie chicken. It was so delicious. It has become one of my favorite places to dine. And I love to recommend and take friends and family. Not once has any one been disappointed! This is a picture of the Losato. Perfectly prepared beef with onions, peppers, tomatoes, served with garlic rice, the best Yukon potato fries, all with the juice of the meat adding the perfect flavor. Pisco Margarita to top it off.

I have eaten in Peruvian restaurants all over the world for the last 25 years and I always have the Lomo Saltado. This was a good but not great version in my opinion. They used good quality ingredients but for my tastes I really wanted more sauce to the dish. I didn’t get that strong flavor of balsamic vinegar and soy sauce that I love so much with this dish. I make this dish myself at home and use much more so it’s not a criticism as much as my personal preference. The service was excellent and all of our meals were well done.

I had the causa acevichada and anticuchos de corazon - both new dishes for me. Both dishes were excellently seasoned, tender and delicious. They have some nice wines by the glass (I had Doña Paula Malbec). They forgot my wine for a bit, but eventually remembered and were very apologetic about the wait (I didn't mind). The server brought me crema Volterra, lovely flan-like dessert, because of the wine. It's was fantastic. It's obvious they take great pride and care in the food here. I'll be back.

This restaurant is narrow but long and probably fits 14 tables not including the bar. It feels like 12 Grimmauld Place in Harry Potter novel and I literally walked past it a couple of times without noticing it. I'm not an expert in Peruvian food but I had some of the best meals here. Definitely get the lamb shank and veal heart. The appetizer platter is a good way to sample different things with friends. The wine here is also reasonably priced.

If you haven’t ventured out to try Villa Peru, you’re missing a great experience. A taste of Peru in Tucson. Welcoming, quaint, transportive, all requirements of a little piece of heaven in the city. I had lamb shank with quinoa and a beef chicken and pork stew with rice, absolutely amazing. The leche de tigre ceviche was a delicious tangy oniony pungent punch of flavor, really unforgettable. The guava cheesecake, fabulous. Donut was interesting with a great molasses type syrup.

This place will surprise you! Little door next to another restaurant. Walk in to beautiful place settings on natural wood tables. The beverage menu is as long as the food nenu, both with lots of variety. You will wait a bit for your meal, because all is made fresh from scratch. Service was great. Family operated (check out the chefs) with lots of love. There's even hand lotion in the super clean restrooms.

It was great while there was the live music. As soon as that stopped, the atmosphere completely changed. I felt like waiter wasn't the most knowledgeable , but he was polite enough and too a cute photo of us.. Food was delicious, meat was fall off the bone tender, enough for leftovers, oh and that ceviche 😍

Great food, great service. I took a Peruvian here to try it with me. He was not disappointed. Their ceviche is light, fresh, and delicious. The lomo saltado uses a perfect beef that is perfectly tender and flavorful. The chaufa (fried rice) was also great. We enjoyed everything we tried here. The pisco drinks were excellent. The service here was friendly and their staff knows the menu very well. Presentation was beautiful and showed the pride they take in their food. They definitely earned five stars and extra tip.
