My husband George & I loved taking back 4 dozen big flour tortillas & 2 dozen green corn tamales to our family in Manteca, Ca.
Been going there for years. Home cookin' at 70s prices. ( damn, there went my wait time)

Delicious with amazing service. The team work well together and they offer recommendations. The tortillas are thin and the size of your head, the food is GREAT! A must visit, I cannot wait to go back! They do not have seating so we ate at our car, but bring a blanket and have a picnic or a lawn chair and tailgate cause the food is worth it!!

I always order the mini chimis and they never disappoint. The price is great almost a once a week spot.
The texture of the tamale was perfect, with the masa being moist and tender, and the chunks of sweet corn and gooey melted cheese creating a wonderful interplay of flavors and textures. Each bite was a burst of savory goodness that left me wanting more.
I can't wait to try the red chili tamales next time, as I've heard they're just as amazing as the green corn ones. I have a feeling that I'll be stocking up on tamales to last me through the winter season!

I just recently found this amazing little restaurant and I absolutely love it! My kids always ask to pickup food here and it's something I can always agree on. Everything on their menu tastes amazing and their staff is so friendly. They're always smiling, always with a greeting upon entry and very helpful if you have any questions.
I see them talk to their regulars like family asking about the kids and saying happy birthday, I highly recommend if you're looking for some great Mexican food!
Love this place. Nice and inviting mom and pops restaurant with some of the best red Chile burritos in town. Their food is always fresh and tasty if u haven't tried it i recommend it.
Worth the wait, always. Stopped here a couple months ago expecting to have a sit-down dinner, but no dining room. This is an order and go restaurant and I haven't been disappointed in 6+ visits. Great food. Takes awhile if the line is long. Of course we'll be back!
Ummmmmmm… so good! When you open the door the smell is so enticing! This is my second time going here. The first time I drove from Phoenix to Tucson to conduct a training at one of our clinics, the staff requested food from here and it was so yummy! Today I had to drive to Tucson after work for a Global Entry appointment so I made sure to come back because the mini chimis are so flavorful and at $7 for a dozen…YES! Oh, I almost forgot to take pictures! LOL! If this was helpful, please give a thumbs up.
Great place. Red Tamales and the beef mini chimis are the best. Super slow getting things out at times. I feel like they'd do better to shorten waiting times for their tamale sales to help push some folks out who order things already cooked. Definitely recommend though.
It's a small building on the corner, fast Mexican food. You might think twice when you pull up, that's if your not from Tucson. They have the best Mexican food which includes beans, Carne asada, chicken and even red rice plus more. They're really nice people, and there attitude was positive vibes. I recommend trying the chicken tacos, and the tostadas.
This place is the real deal if you're looking for good, cheap Mexican food without the frills. Service is very friendly, though a little on the slow side, mainly because it's so popular, so don't expect to get your food in two minutes. It's also take out only, which is a bit of a drawback, but not a deal breaker. I wish I lived closer. I'd go a couple of times a week.
The food is so delicious and authentic! The service personnel are kind, courteous, and endearing. The value is outstanding and the food soooo yummy! I wish I had more days to eat the food before I flew home.
Great place for affordable Mexican food. Burritos are a fair size and cost about five dollars each. On my last visit I had the chicken enchiladas with their red sauce and it was fantastic. I'll be returning to try their tamales and menudo soon.
To bad they didn't have a sitting area , however the food was good my first time eating there and the little guys were amazing and reasonable. Staff was extremely kind to me.
My favorite Mexican spot in Tucson. I had the Chile relleno burrito and it was good! I'm from Cali so the prices here were super affordable. The lady there was also super friendly. Would come again

My friends and I found this Mexican restaurant on Google and decided to give it a try. There was a long ordering line but everyone seemed cheerful and I chatted with a few other patrons while waiting. The cashier was pleasant and briefly asked me how I was doing and about my day during the transaction. The wait time for food felt long as well but when the food was ready, it was piping hot, fresh and large portions! I ordered a chicken chimichanga and a few burritos. I somehow received (and was charged for) two chimichangas which didn't end up being a tragedy because they are enormous and delicious! They were comparable to the largest burrito and packed with shredded chicken. There was some lettuce and cheese in the container as well. Personally, I'd like to see some other ingredients in addition to the shredded chicken but it was surprisingly juicy and flavorful with a nice crisp crust and the hot sauce was great with it too. My friends enjoyed their burritos too. Great place to stop and I'll be by again soon.
1st time trying this place and I am absolutely blown away! The mini chimichangas are to die for!! Prices are phenomenal! Customer service is of the highest quality I've seen in a long time! Wish they were open a little bit later but it does not deter me from going! Mexican Fast Food at its finest!! Highly recommend!! A MUST try for any "foodie"! Can't wait to try other stuff on the menu next time. Will also be having them cater my daughter's bday party in a couple weeks!!
Have been a satisfied customer for many years. Menu has a very good selection hasn't changed much, all of my selections that I made morning noon and evening have been great just like eating at home great service nice kind employees, wait times for food may very, but very well worth the wait reasonable prices as well
