So I went there for some lunch and sat at the bar. We asked our server to change the TV to a game we wanted, and she literally just handed us the 2 remotes, and yes, I said 2. It took us a couple min trying to figure it out before a manager came and helped us out, asking if he could assist us in finding what we wanted to watch. He then got it on. It was okay. I have definitely had better and was not even sure what I was eating. I ordered the 3 dippers appetizers. They all looked the same and honestly tasted the same. I might as well have had a full meal for the price of the small dippers. I went to the bathroom, and the stall I went to was completely out of toilet paper, i had to ask someone in there to give me some. Plus, the toilet paper holder was all nasty with something all over it. Left the bathroom, and there was no hanfld sanitizer. Yes, i did wash my hands. However, i like having sanitizer. I think I would try this place again, but I definitely will order something different. We will see.

If I could give 10 stars I would!! Our server Naydelyn was the sweetest server, very nice. We had the pleasure of sitting where we could watch the cooking entertainment. The way these workers work so well together is amazing. The food!!! Oh my goodness the food is amazing! We will travel the 3 hrs from home to come again. This place ranks top of all Mexican food restaurants.

I visited La Parrilla Suiza on East Speedway Blvd in Tucson on 12/16/22. The authentic ambiance began as my lunch companion and I approached the attractive, colorfully painted building from the rear parking lot which afforded ample parking. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. The interior of the restaurant is inviting and clean, and it provides the dining atmosphere that one would expect of a restaurant that has established itself in Tucson serving authentic Mexico City cuisine. The open kitchen enhances the authenticity. Our waitress was accommodating and friendly. She was patient with our attempt to order using our limited Spanish skills that we were eager to try out. I ordered the #14 Bistek con Enchilada Suizas which consisted of two cheese enchiladas and two charbroiled beef tacos. This combination platter came with their traditional charro beans, rice and lettuce. I chose iced tea with lemon for my drink. My companion ordered Chorizo con Juevos and selected lemonade to drink. The service was quick and efficient and the food was delicious. My photos show the presentation and serving sizes. I will leave it to reviewers with more culinary expertise to comment on the differences between Mexico City cuisine and other Mexican food. I only know that this is good Mexican food and that this restaurant is suitable for bringing guests who want to experience some of Tucson's authentic Mexican cuisine. A word of warning, however -- the salsa they brought out with the chips before the meal was very hot and nothing more mild was available, at least not on that day. One delightful note is their drinking glasses are different from the usual restaurant glasses, and they keep the ice from melting too fast throughout the meal.

Food is really good, I’ve never liked mole in my life and have found myself coming back for more! Chips and salsa for the table (3 different salsas), tacos were good but lite on seasoning. Refried beans were delicious. Mole was great like always. Beef tamale was very stuffed - margaritas had me going for seconds. All in all, good spot! I would say the plates are on the pricey side - but that’s kinda the lay of the land these days

I'm giving this restaurant a 5 Star rating since this Indiana guy has never had Mexican style food like this. The food was outstanding! I've never had corn tortillas that were so fresh and tasty! I got the P. Mixta #39 (which was on the receipt), but I cannot remember the exact name of the meal. I really can't say enough about the very authentic feeling and tasting meal. Honestly, I took a carry out box home and two more meals were gained from the leftovers. I should have got an extra couple of those corn tortillas though.... Service was good, but it took us a very long time to get acknowledged and seated at 2pm on a very unbusy Monday afternoon. We understand that everyone right now is understaffed with the pandemic. Still, this meal will serve for many good memories of my trip to Tucson to visit my very good friend, and I will be back someday! Great job!

The food here is muy buena!! They were short staffed at the time so the service was a bit slow, but the food was definitely worth waiting for. The food tastes very fresh and the chips and salsa were delicious. The menu is large with a bunch of choices.

Tried the mini chimis, just okay Pechuga Sulza, delicious Shrimp Enchilada, delicious Bran Burrito, just okay Lovely ambiance however the kitchen is exposed and we were sat right next to it so it was difficult to have a conversation without loudly talking and feeling like our neighbor tables could hear out convos. Would recommend

This Mexican food is super! We got the #45 & #16. The cheese enchiladas were great and the steak was tasty. The corn tortillas were fresh made and the rice was perfectly cooked and deliciously flavored. There's Plexiglas separating the booths for covid issues and the staff are wearing masks so we felt comfortable dining in. Plus, there's a QR code on the table if you don't want to touch the paper menu. The decor is very nice also.

We waited about 15 minutes to be seated, although they weren't very busy. Once seated, the waiter was very nice. He checked on us often. The food was good.

I love this place and there food, Yet, my Wife was Served on Mother's Day the wrong Mini chimmey's with Chicken instead of Beef. It was later fixed. Got the bill and found out the Charges of Bottle Water, when we got tap water Instead. They had to fix the bill after we paid the bill. Hopefully, they will pay attention what to charge to customers when they go there.

This was first time here in many years. The service was quick and the food was good. The food was cooked fresh and not in a microwave like some of them. We each had a different combination of food. I had combo 15 which consisted of two chicken tacos and a chicken filled with cheese between two tortillas. The food was very good. The beans were exceptional.
