First time here was 1991 when I was 11 years old. My dad was bringing us kids to California in our yellow Ford LTD. It was me, my brother, and my sister there at Triple-T. I had a big burrito, and doused it with Tabasco sauce. Wow i could remember I burnt all my taste buds π€£ Dad got me some milk π
My father was a truck driver for Jack Cooper Transport - they haul vehicles for General Motors. Every time he went West from Arlington, he stopped at Triple-T. His friend JP is in 80s, and still drives for Jack Cooper! You might see a bunch of brand new GM trucks on his rig, and it might be JP π
Last time i was in Tucson, i dropped by Triple-T for country fried steak, eggs, hash browns, and biscuits. Of course i didn't forget the Tabasco sauce!
Keep on Trucking, and let the good times roll... πͺ
People always nice and friendly. Parking is affordable and if you spend 30.00 while you stay there they refund you for the parking so is like you can park and sit down and eat a decent meal for 15.00 so that to me is a good deal.
Don't judge a book by its cover.
Service here has always been a delight. Coffee is good. The food used to be awesome back in the day. Today, I would say that it is now more average to slightly above average. The serving size is great. I even had a little bit of leftovers.
I'm a Trucker as well, and I always enjoy and look forward to stopping at the Triple T whenever I am coming through town, this is one of the best truck stops in the nation! That's my personal opinion.
The food is always delicious, it will definitely fill your tank up, that's for sure! All the friendly faces are always a joy to see, and everyone here enjoys their job! That's a plus.
Thank you to the owner and wonderful staff for making this truck stop what it is!
May God bless everyone who stops in this wonderful place!
Food was extremely good and obviously the quantity was a lot. However, after your recent modification I would have expected the booth seating to be comfortable vs like sitting directly on a 2x4. Next time I need to try and locate a booth with some custions.
They got a decent restaurant it's not the best food in the world but it's good enough. A lot of it has to do with the grill prep I believe.. The waitresses are extremely friendly and they are good people who do their best to serve you up right. The little store owner has all kinds of goodies to buy for food or for drink or for just trinkets
After 11 hours on the road, we were just thankful to find parking. Then we went to eat at Omar's. Our server Amy was absolutely wonderful! Fast and friendly service, knows the whole menu and her recommendations were perfect! Her cook Robert made our food quickly and exactly how we ordered it.
Completely support this truck stop! Been around for several generations of my family! Even with all the nice upgrades, it would be super nice if they would buy out the Circle K and buy all that empty land in the back to make reserved and non reserved parking spaces!!! Also, add healthier restaurant options. Eggs, meat and butter though yummy doesnt help me! Just my thought (and why i gave 4 stars)
Been stopping here since the early 90's. Showers are a bit dated but are clean and get the job done, and free with 50 gallons of fuel. Restaurant is back open and good as ever. Decent little chrome shop. Avoid the typical rat race of the Pilot/Loves etc.
It was pretty busy this visit, but we usually come during the week instead of the weekend. The food is always tasty and hearty selections. We really like the biscuits and gravy here. Almost always take food home because the serving sizes seem large. Good, reasonably priced food.
