The Donut Wheel is, by far, my favorite place for sweet pastries. The apple fritters are the absolute best! Not doughy at all and with a bit of crunch around the edges. Just perfect! Everything is always 100% fresh - - very often still warm. I highly recommend The Donut Wheel!

This place is the best. The doughnuts are always fresh and soft. Perfect amount of icing on every donut. The ham and cheese croissants are SO good, ask for them to warm it up. Friendly, good service. Support local business!
I go especially for the Apple fritters, but I have other favorites too. And, after reading some of the reviews, it looks like the ham and cheese croissant may become my new favorite. I had no idea about it! Thanks for sticking it out through construction, I hope the community has made it worthwhile. Super friendly staff!

Thank you for staying open during the construction and for being open for late night donut runs at 9:30 pm! The jelly filled are our favorites! The glazed are awesome too!

Great service and a good selection of donuts. The staff was very helpful in suggesting donuts. The donuts themselves were so delicious, highly recommend if you’re looking for a wonderful, locally owned, donut shop on the northwest side of town. The cherry iced one was super delicious, as was the giant apple fritter. Cannot recommend enough

Try the ham and cheese croissants they are amazing. If you like it spicy you can get them with jalapeños. Make sure to get there early the croissants sell out fast.

This business made it through covid, reconstruction of the I10 and Ina project, and during this "recession" truly amazing. They are here for us with their yummieness and we are their for them! For the people that comment about price, their prices are very comparable, not over priced. As other shops special donuts are more expensive. These are really big and delicious donuts.
Been a few years but whenever people talk about the best donuts they ever had I remember this place and mention it. Have never had a better doughnut and I typically don’t like doughnuts. Stop there every time I am in Tucson.

I've bought donuts of most every type here for many years and have never been disappointed. My big fear was when the construction of the Ina Road bridge was in work that they'd close shop like so many other nearby places and never be seen or heard from again. Thankfully they persevered and stayed open the entire (!!) time, God Bless them! They may have been inconvenient to reach due to the construction but the PITA was worth it IMHO. But if there was anything I have to gripe about is the fact that they tend to run out of most donuts by mid morning and absolutely REFUSE to bake any more until the following day!! That is NOT a customer friendly way to be IMO, but what can you do? One would think they'd have a second, lesser amount of donuts made for the afternoon crowd, since not everyone works mornings or might like to have a donut with their first cup of coffee in the morning. Regardless, I'll still continue to do business with the Donut Wheel, even if I have to put in a reservation for donuts the night before. But is SURE DO WISH they'd cook a second (smaller) variety batch for the afternoon folks like me.
If you want a place that's been around forever and always has massive local support... then you have to go here and get the best donuts ever. Make sure to get some great coffee to go with those donuts 💛
My husband and I were up with our newborn every half hour last night, and then our toddler was up at 5. Desperate for something to celebrate our success of surviving the night/early morning, we turned to donuts. This place hit the spot. Wolfing down my Boston cream and chocolate covered cold fashioned, my eyes glazed over like the donuts in my hands, I decided this would be our new donut emergency go to spot. Excited for our kids to grow to the point where we can all walk down the street for a treat.
The BEST donuts in Tucson, by far! My only gripe is that they seldom have my favorite....old fashion donut or some call it sour cream donut. WHY?! I know they make it cuz I've had it and it was THE BEST! Please tell me when I should go to get them. PLEASE!!

Employees are so nice! Donuts are even better! This is the ONLY place I will get donuts in Tucson. My picture would look more pretty, but we couldn’t wait to dive in. Donuts are fluffy and fresh.
