Ken's Hardwood Barbecue - Tucson - Photo album

I was a chef at a smokehouse that got a fair amount of national/regional press. I only state that so you understand when I say the brisket was on point I hope you understand I know what I’m talking about. The staff was also top notch. This was my first time here and I will eat here every time I go t
I went here w eyes bigger then my stomach. ended up spending around 60ish on close to 2 lbs of meat w 4 sides. for 2 people. we had left overs for days. so the portions were great! the staff was friendly. the food was very very good the fried mac was original (to me) w it's jalapeños breading. the c
Very laid back place, old blues music and soul playing. Some truly amazing, tender barbecue! Had the brisket and fried catfish, with beans and season fries. Only thing I had the slightest issue with were the beans. Not bad at all just... different to what I'm used to (wife loved them). HIGHLY
Best bbq in town. I had Ken cook me up a group order to feed 50. Nothing was left! Huge hit. Ken reached out personally and set me up quickly. Everybody was easy to work with. Would do it again!
I ordered rib tips, they ran out so they gave me a generous serving of brisket instead. I should have just ordered the brisket to begin with. I live in the south, and this was probably the best brisket I ever had. The people working there were super cool too.
You want BBQ try this place out they have everything for anyone hubby had the pulled pork great amount sweet and tangy flavored it was great there sause was amazing don't even get me started on there coleslaw had a nice and cold sweet taste it was strange but a nice surprise to have a mango
The food here is so good and the atmosphere as well. I definitely recommend this place. The seasoning on the fries was different for me and definitely a hit! Thanks Ken 😀
Wow! Amazing spot. We are new to Tuscon and this was an immediate recommendation from a friend. This place should not be missed. Great food, reminded me of the best parts of living in the South, great people, wonderful dining. Just GO!
Last night I had the St Louis Rivs. 4 generous ribs, so flavorful and tender. The beans!! Sweet and tangy. Collards good too. I've found my BBQ fix in Tucson.
Great barbque. Ribs are tender full of flavor. Sauce is great. Sides to enjoy with your meal. Not fancy... Just good food. The way it should be.
I recently picked up pulled pork and barbecue sauce as the protein to go along with baked potatoes for a loaded potato supper. As usual Ken's Hardwood Barbecue provided my family with excellent smoked meat that thrilled the taste buds and outstanding barbecue sauce with just the right amount of heat
Amazing food. We split Kens loaded fries with pulled pork and couldn’t finish them. They were such a deal! The sweet potato fries and beans were so yummy. We will be back, hopefully soon! I’ve recommended multiple people to go enjoy as well.
06SEP2022: Two pulled pork sandwiches and a side of mac’n’cheese. Short and sweet, absolutely incredible BBQ. Zero fat, so lean, perfectly prepared, and not that I am a ‘big’ portion kind of guy, but for $8 – I will be skipping dinner this evening. Not my first time in here – always very clean, t
The best BBQ I've had in tucson. The loaded nachos were the best & the fried Mac and cheese was delicious. I highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy some BBQ.
This BBQ is top 3 in Tucson. Family owned spot with good flavor, the smell in the lobby makes your stomach grumble thinking about what you are about to eat. I've never spent less than $60 here for my family of 3 with 2 adults and a 7 year old but that's alright because there is rarely any leftovers
Great food and great service. All of the proteins were juicy and well made. The peach cobbler was definitely the best way to end our meal.
