Absolutely phenomenal professional pizza, one slice is huge!! Hot and fresh!! Made to your liking. Very friendly helpful staff. Clean and organized warm and welcoming facility. 10 out of 10. Have eaten there many times over the years always excellent. Highly recommend!!
Stopped by for dinner one night while on vacation. It was very busy, but we were still able to find a table, and food came out pretty fast. Our pizza was really good. It sucked that we were going home 2 days later. Highly recommend, and we will be back next time we are in town.
In town visiting family. Googled Italian and this old school gem came up! Its good pizza and good baked ziti. A slice of Pizza is like $9.75 BUT its huge! Cool little pizza joint!
My Girlfriend and I went here for dinner and it was a good experience overall. It's almost like a cafeteria style of ordering. You walk in, turn to the right, and order af the counter, then sit down until your name is called, and you have to go pick up your own food. All we had was wings, but they were awesome! I ordered the spicy and the mild wings and she had the barbecue wings. Beware, the spicy wings are spicy! Lol. We loved the chicken wings! We will be back to try their pizza.
Recently moved back from the east coast and have been missing the Italian food. I got a slice of Sicilian and a side of meatballs, both were incredible but the meatballs were WOW. Sat next to the fountain and absolutely loved the decor/atmosphere, it's obvious the restaurant is someone's labor of love.
The decorations were amazing for the holidays. It was our first time having authentic Calzone's and truly was hand made per order. I want to return to Tucson as soon as possible to have this dish again.
Excellent little pizza joint. The pizza was great! Get in early if you plan to dine in, seating is semi-limited and tables fill up pretty quickly.
The first time there, the food was off the chain!! Had the Traditional Calzone and Fried Ravioli, you can taste the freshness in their ingredients. Their food reminds me of home in Upstate NY.

Went there on Thurs night about 5 pm. There were three tables occupied.
I ordered for 6 people. All orders were individual meals, but a LG pizza was also ordered. I also ordered two appetizers.
The appetizers came out first... no problem.
The individual meals came out about 10 mns later. We were having a good time talking & laughing. We were pretty much done with our meals & still no pizza.
After we were done eating, I went to counter to ask about pizza and was told it'd be about 5 more mns. By this time our trays were piled up and we were done.
Meanwhile another family came in about 15 mns after us & got their whole pizza served in a timely manner... with the rest of their food.
I finally went up to counter to ask again about pizza and was told "two more minutes"
When we finally got pizza, my nephew ate one slice & went to get container to take it home as we were all done.
I understand pizza takes longer than ziti, Spaghetti and sandwiches, but maybe you could hold all the food together so we could eat as a family...or tell us how long it'll be. At that point, I would've just ordered a couple slices.
I've been to mama's three times. Once behind PVHS during covid where I ordered at window on patio.
The second time was your location for a family gathering and I didn't deal with ordering.
When I ordered, I prepaid the tip, thinking I was paying for a server. Nope, we place the order.. we pick up our order.. we clean our area😂Now I know not to prepay a tip as there was no service provided.
On the plus side, the food is pretty damn good!!

Mamma's Famous Pizza, is one of my all time favorite restaurant's to eat. Thee food ,is always delicious, thee restaurant is always clean. And thee employees are awesome. Super Friendly, and Curtis. Highly recommend, this restaurant.
Delicious pizza. Great flavor, texture is perfect, 5 stars. They also have an amazing indoor old-school dining area to eat.
