Our server was very good, very attentive. Our Teppan Cook was awesome and very entertaining We had delicious food and drinks I would recommend going here for a fun special occasion.

One of my favorite places over the last 25 years. This was first time in over a year. My chef tonight remembered me from over 30 years ago from the Japanese Kitchen that closed in the mid to late 1980’s. Crazy! I was alone at a table but a few tables around me with diverse families and lots of youngsters really made my night complete. Food wonderful, and service great. Expensive! But once a year is a real treat.

We were in a big group of friends, the orders were all accurate, fast, delicious. The waitress was super. Sushi was just delightful, lots of fish and little rice. Highly recommend.

My friends and I come here every week, specifically because the bartender Megan is wonderful! She really livens the place up, and gives excellent service. Every time we've ever had an issue, she has promptly resolved it and taken care of us. ⭐

Went to celebrate a birthday. About 15 of us. Couldn't be seated until everyone arrived 🙄 very crowded once we did get in. We had soup, which was good, white rice was also served. Service was ok except for the older server who may have been joking, scolded one of my grandkids who was speaking to me, to move back to his seat. One the food was brought to be cooked, it was quite impressive. The food was good, extra vegetables. Had also ordered egg rolls, not my favorite, but they were good. Restaurant is smaller than the one on Oracle.....

We had a hibachi dinner a few weeks ago and the 4 of us raved about our night/food. The atmosphere, chef and all the staff and the food was top notch! I’ve since been craving their food and this week tried takeout. The employees again were so friendly/helpful and the food the BEST! Some of my faves/staples: gyoza, sushi (their rice is so soft, the best I’ve ever had) and the kani salad.

Went in for lunch, and the food is fabulous! Quality of the meat and seafood is absolutely superb. The chef was entertaining and engaging. Menu was simple and concise. Apart from that, this place needs a deep clean. All the important areas are clean, just needs attention to the smaller details. Decor is WOEFULLY outdated and aging. Renovation a must.

First time coming and it was amazing. Steak was cooked perfectly, as was the rice. Chicken was a little dry but the teriyaki sauce more than made up for it. Our chef was a delight when he was working but as soon as he was done, the man was gone. I wish I had gotten his name and asked him some questions. Only real complaint was it was poorly lit where we were sat, in one corner. Honestly, I'd come back if they took the lights out anyways. The torrents of fire keep it bright and warm.

First time dining here. Went for a birthday party with a party of 7. The show and food were both excellent. My niece had never been to a Teppanyaki restaurant before and now it's her "favorite place ever". It is very pricey though so we won't be back unless she wants to go for her birthday. For 2 adults, I ordered steak and shrimp and he ordered calamari and shrimp both with fried rice (a $2 charge per plate) with 2 non alcoholic drinks, it was $93 total. They did include the tip (18%) because we were a party of 6 or more. The chicken teriyaki was the cheapest protein entree at $21 and the bite I had was very good if you want to save a little money.

First time at Sakura’s. Not exactly what I thought it would be. I thought it was EXTREMELY FANCY. It’s not. I think it needs a update, remodeling. The tables are very close to each. The waitresses, I believe we had 2-3 the did not take down my order correct. Overall the food was great. Just because we had a bad experience the first time, we will return. Again food is great, sushi was great.

I wanted to treat my mother to a nice dinner & this place exceeded my expectations. I had the steak & shrimp & my mother had the teriyaki chicken dinner. Both meals came with soup, salad, & stir fry veggies. 😋 Everything was Awesome & the staff was Fantastic. I highly recommend Sakura Teppan Steak House to anyone who craves an Awesome experience

We love Sakura!! Great food and a wonderful show every time. The kids always have a blast. They offer multiple courses, have a lot of options, and the service is wonderful. It definitely takes time, so plan on at least an hour. You can also call ahead, especially if you have a large group. They also do a special desert and song if you're celebrating! 🍾

So, love sushi, but this isn't my favorite in Tucson so far Explanation - first off, Sakura has a grill area where they cook up your food in front of you - while I love that experience also, it adds a level of noise (and smoke) for those in the sushi area - I know for me, I'm susceptible to coughing (unfortunately) in smokey places Second, from what I've seen, the rolls here are on the average side for flavor and appearance in my opinion - not to say the food's NOT good, just that I'm not impressed with the overall experience (and again, in my opinion, that's kind of a big reason why we go out for sushi in the first place) Also, tables are kind of squished together in here (at least the area we ate in) Service is normally good here, although the night we were there a salad (appetizer) was brought at the very END of the meal with the comment "sorry we totally forgot this" - everyone was literally done eating at the time - my suggestion (in the future) would be for the server to actually ASK if the customer even still WANTS the salad, and just to take it off the bill (or COMP it) since customers are probably NOT looking to eat a dinner salad AFTER the dinner course is over In all, a good place for sushi, but not the best

Great Experience! Hadn't been in a loooong time and thought it'd be would be fun. Some wait time for the actual chef, but it was filled with stuffing our faces full of soup, eggrolls, wontons, lettuce wraps & salad, all of which were delish! I had the Steak, Lobster & Chicken dish. The Chef was on point, fast and entertaining. Definitely will go back soon!

Very good Japanese hibachi! We went as soon as they opened, so for a good bit we had the restaurant to ourselves. The waitress/host did an excellent job seating us right away and helping us. The chef was very personable and easy to get along with. The food was amazing. Best Japanese hibachi since coming from the east coast.

Delicious food, super fun atmosphere! My friends and I had a great time. Very short wait time considering it was a Friday night! A little crowded for me with my cane, but it was manageable.
