Love this restaurant. Been going here for many years. A little outdated but I like the atmosphere. Bi bim bop is the best in town by far. LOVE the Kimchi soup.
Homey Korean. I walked in once and it looked like the family was out in the dining area prepping food. This is a little family joint and nothing fancy (service a bit lacking). However, they put out some nice family home cooked meals. I always order the bibimbap and I love it. Just tastes like it came out of some mother's kitchen. The red chile paste (gochujang) is delicious and the whole meal is healthy and hits the spot. Been visiting this place for years now.
This is authentic Korean.... This is truly authentic Korean food. I agree with one of the reviewers that it's like eating in someone's home because the food has a "homemade" quality to it. The food is delicious and flavorful. The bi bim bop and boolgogi are especially delicious.
Good menu selections. I love coming here especially for their lunch specials. Their food is pretty authentic and they don't skimp on the portions. I love their Kimpo #2 (spicy pork, mandu, rice, and japchae noodles. The service is hit or miss most of the time but it's typical for Korean restaurants. (for in Korea it's more about quality of food than service) I love how they give you a sweet rice drink after your meal to top things off. Did I mention they serve jampong soup?? The best spicy soup for any seafood lover.
Overall review- good Korean food, roomy restaurant area, a unique seperate traditional Korean floor seating. Never overly busy so there are always tables available. Too bad they don't do Korean BBQ.....
Great Food, Mildly Awkward Service Experience. Korea House has a household feel to it, like you're sitting down to a home-cooked meal in someone's transformed living room. There's normal seating, a korean-style dining table where you sit on your knees, and enclosed booths. I liked the atmosphere, right down to serving soft drinks from the can.
I ordered the Pork Bul Gogi and the sauce on it was delicious: a little spicy, a little sweet, a whole lot of tasty. My dad ordered the bi bim bop and said it was pretty good, though he didn't get a fried egg on it, something he's used to getting from Takamatsu.
The food is definitely good, but the service was a little awkward. Our waitress was very... stoic, and she gave no explanation as to why the kitchen couldn't add tofu to the bi bim bop. The other waitress seemed a bit more friendly, so I could've had an isolated case, but either way Korea House is definitely worth a try!
A colleague who had lived in Korea took me here, although I was somewhat reluctant. I'm glad I had an open mind, because everything was excellent!! I'll certainly come back here the next time I'm in Tucson!
My niece orders from here as delivery all the time and loves it. She wanted to dine in when we came to visit for her birthday.
A lot of their food is spicy so I would definitely pay close attention to the menu if you're not into spicy food.
The restaurant was clean with minimal decor and a couple of nice semi-private booths in addition to the many tables.
The server was not unfriendly but also was not particularly friendly, I don't think she smiled once but she was busy and another table was being rude to her.
We were celebrating my niece's birthday and she wanted to try the chicken feet, she's braver with food than me. I wish they had a small sample size for newbies though, because no one at the table liked them and we felt bad that they went to waste. They were gristly, chewy and had almost no meat on them. The soup tasted like raw potatoes in warm water but the rest of the food was well made and tasted good. My niece especially enjoyed the dessert.
We would give it another try.
Excellent authentic Korean cuisine with phenomenal flavor. You can tell they take pride in their food and have spent decades perfecting their recipes. This place is a true gem and you won’t find many like it here in southern Arizona. Personal recommendations are any form of bulgogi, the bibimbap, and the fried mandoo (life changing!).
Family owned Korean restaurant. Food was delicious. The beef bulgogi and the beef Kalbi short ribs were the favorites! Very flavorful and tender. Tables do not have grills. Food is grilled in the back. Everything we had was prepared well and the portions were generous. Staff was friendly. They were short of help, but service was still good and the food was worth the wait! Casual dining area.
Great food. Pretty authentic. Selections that are harder to get normally.
Beef bulgogi. Chicken bulgogi. Samgeopsal. Japchae. Kimbap. Patbingsu.
Food was great. Had the haemul pajeon (seafood pancake) and galbi. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired with the harsh lighting and white/grey everything. Would come back for sure.
So freaking delicious. 10000% satisfied. No wonder why so many people order their food from here.
This was our first experience with Korea House Restaurant. My wife is Korean so we wanted to find a new "go-to" spot when we don't feel like cooking. The restaurant was very clean and the interior was laid out nicely. As others mentioned the food is not as savory as some might expect. My wife ordered the combo plate with beef bulgogi and she enjoyed it. I had the pork kalbi and the flavor left me wanting. You can tell the ribs were boiled first and so there was no flavor past the surface of the meat and was not as tender as if it were smoked or BBQ'd. Moreover, their "special Korean sauces" tasted like they only used gochujang sauce and nothing more. We enjoyed the little side dishes of various pickles and kimchee. This in no way discourages us from coming back to try their other menu items! We'll try to come back during off-peak hours as there was only one server and he was quite busy between inhouse patrons and pick-up orders so the service was a little slow, but again not going to discourage us from coming back! I do recommend trying Korea House Restaurant if you're in the mood for some Korean food!
Recently renovated, family-owned and operated, authentic Korean restaurant. Food has always been great and the portions are quite large for the price! They even have a new bar area if you just want to have a drink. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Great portions, fair prices, and fun alcohol selection. The restaurant is very clean, and updated. Food was delicious and fresh. They have different heat levels to accommodate those who like spice and the ones who don’t.
We ordered the “Fried Mandoo” and “Tteok-bokki for appetizers (first picture)“Samgycopsal” and “Beef Kalbi” for entrees. (Last two pictures)

Our most recent visit was a birthday. We all had a great time and the food was excellent. The beef short ribs are so delicious. I also had the spicy marinated pork belly it's honestly to die for. It's tender and perfectly spicy. The crew that work there are always super nice!
Best Korean food I've found so far in Tucson. Tried chicken feet for the first time here, be warned they are spicy (but tasty). Comfortable surroundings, we were seated in a booth that was pretty private. Nice date night idea for the more adventurous. The pancakes were amazing as well! Server was friendly and attentive.
The food was delicious. Will definitely go back again.
I had a fantastic experience at Korea House in Tucson. The soondubu (Korean soft tofu stew) was heavenly divine! The owner let me substitute the seafood in the stew for beef, which is my favorite way of enjoying it. I needed more rice to eat with the soondubu and was given another bowl for free too. The banchans (side dishes) were excellent as well.. You can tell a lot about the character of a Korean restaurant by their banchans. The potatoes were perfect, the kimchi was bold, the cucumbers sweet, and the bean sprouts were fresh as well. The service here is nice and the vibe is pretty authentic. I had to order some kimbap to go and it was simply fabulous. I will definitely be coming here again! Superb.
Ordered Sundubu-jjigae, full of squid and shrimp which I love. The banchan was fresh and flavorful, it consisted of kimchi, potato, bean sprouts and sliced marinated cucumber. The place itself isn’t the most impressive (stacked file boxes and other stuff was visible walking into the restaurant) but the food was delicious.
I love Korean house, they are so nice and professional. Food is so so tasty. I always feel satisfied when I come to this restaurant
Went with my mom to try Korean food for the first time was not disappointed ! Great vibes, service and delicious food :) my favorite is the kimbap so far ! Will be going again forsure with more friends and boyfriend! Yummy. Not too expensive either for all the food we got. Server was friendly, fast and kept my tea filled love it
