Had a lovely gluten free blueberry muffin and a tea. The people were helpful and friendly even though they were slammed with street fair traffic. The tea was prepared fast and was hot and well made, the blueberry muffin had large fresh blueberries. My mom liked her muffin, though it was a little dry on the muffin top and she said the hot chocolate was delicious. I'm glad we stopped in. Thanks for being open!

Visiting Tucson from Washington and wandering around found this cafe, decided to stop in and see if they lived up to their name. They had amazing food, good coffee and a very welcoming atmosphere will definitely come back when we visit next!

Epic is laid back, relaxed and comfortable. The food is homemade and delicious. And having someone as famous as Jason Carder playing there every week is a real bonus!

Chill place. Total hipster feel. No complaints. They were out of avaocado, so they let me substitute for extra cheddar on my Turkey bacon avocado sandwich.

This is a really nice little place to go to for breakfast or lunch and just relax and have some good food. The cafe itself is well cared for and pleasant to be in. And the service here is perfect. The person who took my order was friendly and made sure things were correct before continuing and my meal was ready in a good amount of time. I had a panini and blackberry mojito, both which were amazing. The drink in particular was really good, the blackberry, lime, and mint combined very nicely together. The panini had a little too much spinach for me, but it was nonetheless delicious. It also came with some side potatoes that were seasoned and roasted to perfection. The portions are quite generous as well. I am not one to eat a lot, so I got a little box to take home part of my meal, but if you've got a bigger appetite, then it should be perfect for you. I really liked eating here, it's a cozy little cafe and the food is delicious. If I'm ever in Tucson again I would gladly come back.

Really interesting menu, lots of vegan options. I had the mushroom and chevre quiche and side of bacon, with a dirty horchata, everything was great! The interior could use an update but it's cozy and quiet with lots of plants that someone clearly lovingly cares for. Lots of beautiful pastries in the case, and I like that they use cloth napkins!!

Haven’t been here since it’s previous name (epic cafe), but really enjoyed the place and how it has a little play area for kids and couches make it more laid back atmosphere. Love all the options for food, drinks and pastries. It’s place to order at the front counter and they bring your food out later. Love the food! I definitely will go back again!

This was a pleasant find on our trip to town. I had the mega burrito, and my wife had the vegan biscuits and gravy. Both were delightfully demolished. We also made off with some amazing pastries for a treat later on. We. Will. Be. Back.

I knew it before as the epic cafe and it's just as good if not better! A wonderful selection of breakfast and lunch foods, as well as delicious drinks. My bacon was perfectly cooked, the toast perfectly buttered, and the eggs were delicious! They also had plenty of pastries to choose from, sweet and savory. It was not busy at all and seems like the perfect hole-in-the-wall spot to take a chance at. Not to mention, the prices were very reasonable. Edit to add that you HAVE to try their prickly pear smoothie. I would come here JUST for this. It is so delicious. The refresher is also super yummy and really great for hot days.

This is a go-to spot for me. Kind and knowledgeable service. Menu is the perfect size, valuing quality over quantity. Plenty of options to choose from, savory and sweet. Haven't had something I didn't like. Roomy and bright environment, and love all the well taken care of plants scattered about. Also kiddo friendly, which isn't very common with cafés. Highly recommend.

I always enjoy the time and money spent here, whether for a study session or to catch up with friends. The coffee is always well-made, with a fine (and tasty) selection of food and desserts to accompany. I look forward to coming back sooner.

Relaxed cafe with a full coffee bar and breakfast / lunch menu. Many hearty vegan options as well as vegan sweets. The owner made a point of designing the menus so there’s food options for everyone.

Maggie's is amazing. Had the breakfast burrito with bacon and sausage and it was delicious! The oatmeal raisin cookie was crunchy and chewy. There's also great vegan options if there is a vegan in you're group.

BUSSIN BUSSIN. Look at these sandwiches and think. You could be eating this. Prices were still reasonable too and their dirty horchata was great

This was a local recommendation (see update at the end) and we were not impressed. It's a rarity that I post a bad review, I'll usually just talk to the management so they can improve without the hit to their rating BUT it just didn't seem like they cared. The few bright spots: The cashier was wonderful and on her stuff, nailed the order. The croissants were amazing and we should have had those rather then the breakfast sandwich. The chai tea was not good, the egg in the breakfast sandwich was not good, and the service was slow. UPDATE: talked to the owner, Kim, and she was a joy to talk to. Huge kudos for being willing to talk to a customer to look at the opportunities to improve. I will definitely return to see if a better experience is more the norm.

Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere and fresh tasting food. My $2.50 "side of fruit" was disappointing - just a couple of orange and apple slices. Otherwise it's a decent place.

I have to be very careful eating out and the people here were fantastic. Not only did they help me find an option that I could safely eat they were friendly and dismemberment mind 20 questions about each thing, patiently checking with the cook if they weren't positive on an ingredient. Staff went above and beyond. The food was amazing. Coffee woke me up and tasted fantastic as well. I will be back!

Try the Peanut Butter Mocha Espresso, Iced....so great! I really enjoyed the breakfast burrito, and it was served nice and hot. I would like a better salsa, it tasted like a typical jarred salsa. Also they have some great baked goods. Giant cookies!

Absolutely the best thing I’ve tasted in a really long time. There are very few vegan options in the city for those of us who like, as Cafe Maggie’s owner states, “Vegan food that is good in its own right, not because it’s trying to imitate mock meat.” Cafe Maggie’s new menu features a few different vegan options. I ordered the biscuits with Soyrizo gravy and every bite of this was phenomenal. I didn’t even need hot sauce and I’m a hot sauce ADDICT. I also got the house made Sunflower cookie which is like a freaking 10x better than peanut butter cookie(even though I love PB). And then finally a dirty Horchata, which was just right (not too sweet, but not plain or watery). I got to speak with the owner and am totally enamored with his business goals, his hopes for the cafe, and the support he’s offering to the Vegan community. Everyone who works here is so wonderfully kind. I’m so glad that @deathfreefoodie recommended this for my date morning with myself- I can’t wait to come back next weekend to try the pancakes!

Been coming here for years and I have to say that I was a little disappointed. Service was OK. Young ladies that were working didn't go out of their way to make it a welcoming experience, and you know this when they are on their phones texting during business hours. I ordered an Iced Chai Tea and you could barely taste the Chai. I ordered a Chai Tea there not long ago and thought that maybe it was just made poorly, but it seems they are trying to skimp on the Chai. I also had a bagel with cream cheese that was overpriced. Lastly, the bathroom was filthy! You could tell that it hadn't clean in days and this is my pet peeve. No paper towels either. In its current condition I don't recommend. :( 5/4/19: Well I came back and things have definitely improved. Bathroom was clean and Chai Tea was slightly better, but they need to add more Chai. The service was good, and didn't see any of the ladies on their phones. I do have to say that their desserts are pretty tasty! I had a slice of raspberry cake yesterday, but have been waiting for them to make this lemon cake that was to die for! My daughter actually said that was the cake she wanted for her wedding. She was 13 last year! Haha. Recommend :) Please like review! :)
