I moved back to New York 9 years ago. I am back in Tucson for a visit, and have been dreaming about a breakfast burrito and cup of Horchata from one of my favorite spots..... El Potosino. I ordered 2 steak, potato, egg, and cheese, burritos, one for tonight, and one for tomorrow morning. The owner was behind the counter, and after hearing about my love of his establishment, he threw in the horchata for free! I took one sip of the horchata, and knew it wouldn't make it back to the hotel! It was delicious. I just started my first burrito and it was just as I remembered.... perfect!

The night time guy Valentine has been there over 20 years and is amazing. He is hands down one of the hardest working people I have ever met. Love this place! Also give him a raise!

Better prices and portions than Nicos and Los Betos. I have never gotten food poisoning from here UNLIKE most of their competitors which happens at least 50% of the time.

The next local fat Mexican food joint, incredible process, homemade and delicious. Don't be fooled by the Betos or Nico's, they cannot complete with this place. Hands down worth the drive. Their guacamole is authentic, their rice and beans are homemade.

I love this little spot, the food is very tasty and flavorful & the service is fast & friendly. I love chimichangas but theirs is lacking on meat. Definitely need more meat inside the chimichangas cause it’s skimpy for the price but usually everything else is absolutely packed with meat. Which is why I’m surprised the chimichangas are lacking cause nothing else ever is. If you don’t like bell peppers in your chimichangas you might want to ask them to remove them because their’s has bell peppers inside which I’m also not used to but overall… absolutely good food & great service for the price. Highly recommend!!!

I love this place. Always good food and they generally throw in extra without cost. My friends got cheese enchiladas and I got Carne asada burrito and they gave me some of the enchiladas too. The pico is totally worth the extra 1.50 because it's fresh. I ended up with 2 meals for myself and 1 for my partner(large male) just off my dish alone! Also their refried beans are homemade, no canned stuff here! Yummy, everytime I go down town I make a point of stopping here. Then I follow up with a small cone from DQ right down the road. If they served icecream I'd never leave hahaha.
