First time in thought it was gonna be some smokey biker bar, ended up being a very nice atmosphere. Came back for a friends bday and both times i can say the staff is top notch, friendly and welcoming folks that are on top of their game, shoutouts to Sami. The pool tables are a plus! Food is solid
Good food! Friendly staff and tenders! Stayed for appetizers and a few beers. Beers were cold, wings were great!
Owner thanked us for coming in and asked if we enjoyed ourselves. Nice touch and we will definitely go back!

We really enjoy the Wooden Nickel. The drinks are the best, the music is a great mixture and the service is by far the best. We take our family and friends all the time and have never had a bad experience. The owner is on top of everything always.

Joey is the best!!! Great vibes, excellent mozzarella sticks and onion rings. Will most definitely be coming back to see what else they have to offer!

We had the opportunity to visit this place twice while we were in town. The atmosphere and service is great! Not to mention the incredibly delicious wings... I want more! We also tried the tacos and a burger which where very good! Such a great place!
After lots of searching we found our FAVORITE wings! Crispy outside, tender inside is a must for us and that’s exactly what these wings are!😍 We ordered the Buffalo Hot, Garlic parm and tater tots. I have to add, we went for the wings and stayed because of the amazing atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We met the owner Joey and totally fell in love with The Wooden Nickel. The love and dedication he has to this place made us love it even more. We’re new to the area and I think we just found our favorite dive bar and wing spot! We were told the burgers and fish tacos are great as well. Will be trying those next!
The service is pretty decent for a bar, the general vibe of the place is very laid back and the wings! Oh the wings! Had them once and they had me thinking about those things all week! No other wings can compare. Must try, even if that's the only reason why you go to the wooden nickel. 🍗
Have never had any bad experiences here. The food is always fresh tasting and delicious. The drinks are always great tasting and mixed well and can't complain when having a great drink while playing some pool. Most patrons are friendly and welcoming.
The food is great for bar food. Could be better but did like the mango habanero wings! Great prices in those on Wednesdays I believe. The service is great. Cool bar with pool tables, music, and drinks. I give it 4.5 stars! If you like country, this is a good spot for weekends.
Nice neighborhood bar. The fish tacos, onion rings, wings and fried zucchini is very good! I'm not a sandwich person, but I did try a cheeseburger. I wouldn't rave about it , but my friends say their burgers are good!
Another hidden gym of Tucson! This is a good neighborhood bar with some of the best food in Tucson! It has a full kitchen and makes exceptional food! I had a burger. That was so good that I will go back a thousand times! The wings are some of the best wings in town with a lot of varieties! The loaded tots are awesome! The bartenders are on point with your order! The place is just an all around. Awesome! A place to hang out and have a cold beer or drink and some great food!

You can always tell who the regulars are and either way , friendly people. Karaoke ambiance is great. They have Buchanas which is not that common on this side of town.
Great bar & grill. Great service. It's was my first time there. But I'll definitely visit again. Great wings, with full bar.
I definitely had a great time. The staff was on point. And the crowd was energetic and friendly.
