There food is really amazing. It's sad that more people don't actually know about this place because it is located on The U of A property. There steak burgers are made fresh and are out of this world delicious. If you are sensitive to grease you may not want to order their burger but they also have delicious French fries, milk shakes and chicken. You can order from here from Grubhub, Uber eats and door dash if you don't want to go eat in a giant cafeteria setting.
They have pretty good food that isn't expensive. Too bad Tucson can't have a place like this off campus. If you like to pay and park then come and get some of these yummy nom noms!
I love this place. I'm from Illinois where they are all over the place. I've lived out here for over 2 years and this was the 1st time IV been here and I will most definitely being going back. After walking all over the place I finally found it. When I got there they weren't open. Imagine how disappointed I was not to mention my twins. I asked the manager what time they opened and he told me 10am. I was there at 8:45am. I was going to wait around or come back, but I didn't have to. The manager offered to take our order. So we placed our order and waited and the wait was worth it. The food tasted just like I remember. I really appreciate what the manager did for us. It goes to show that good people do still exist. Now that I know where it is I will take the whole family here real soon.
3 and a half stars? really?! This place is great for what it is...good fast food burger and fries. Also hot dog and chicken tenders options. Fries are addicting...brain wanted a 2nd order but stomach thanked me for sticking to 1 so it wasnt over-stuffed ;-) Burger was delicious, lil greasy but in a good way if that makes any sense ie didnt leave me with a "heavy" feeling. Great price too
Students love eating here. They call out on a mic, when your order is ready. Fantastic, modern, self-service drink machine with a multitude of flavors. The public can dine here, as well, with the students and enjoy the ambience.
I live in Chicago but go to the U of A and this is the first steak and shake I have saw in the area so I had to try it out. I usually get the western bbq and bacon but this steak and shake was different and had a smaller selection. I got the classic hamburger. It was made to order and was ready pretty fast. Was very cheap and the burger was very good. Would eat again.
First timer here, was skeptical from a couple pics I saw online but those were in no way accurate! (See my pic) The food was very good, my son (12) and I had a burger, fries, and shake. Seems to be very fresh, as in no warmers! They had alot of Staff working, a very sweet gal named Claudia took our order and made a great suggestion since this was our first time and all. All around good vibes and staff seemed to enjoy thier job which was pretty refreshing to see these days! Awesome Claudia, awesome! Thank you!
Had it for the first time and loved it! I got the regular burger. Talk about some fresh ingredients. It was juicy and delicious. Service was fast and everyone was nice. Great experience. ❤
Not sure what all the hate is about. Staff (Austin) and the other servers are really friendly and make me feel welcome. Wish I could rate it a 10/10.
Long lines around lunch but they move fast. Helpful staff. Amazing prices but skimp on the fries. Quality of meat is good here.
Great food great service but was very upset that they did not offer the 7x7 burger as that is the greatest burger ever please start offering it for $7.77 as all other steak n shakes do

It was very amazing good customer service it was very crowded that day but even tho it was still very good and our food came as quickly as possible
